Jim Mitchell served in the Army from 1952 to 1954, achieving the rank of sergeant, he was a veteran of the Korean War. After spending time working for Lent Inc., Jim and his wife Jeanne bought CK Lumber located in Silverdale in 1971. Jim later renamed the business Mitchell Lumber Co. and retired in 1984.

Dedicated project salesperson that can help you every step of the way through your project from small sheds to commercial building. Our sales personnel are educated and well versed in plan reading, material takeoffs, and on-site measurements.

We will be temporarily scaling back our dock shop operations while we expand our lumberyard, including building a new dock shop! This will allow us to better and more quickly meet the needs of our customers, and hopefully even expand our service and capabilities. This is a very exciting time for us!
