In 1973, after being in the medical electronics industry for few years, Norm Buechting moved his family to the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, where he 1st became involved in the hearth industry. Norm opened a fireplace store in 1975, which catered to builders and retail clients with fireplaces and stucco stone veneer.
