We used Buckeye Basements to finish our 1250 SF basement and the experience was the best I've ever had working with a contractor. They were on schedule, their trades were top notch, and the workmanship was fantastic. Jon and Leah guided us through the design process and helped make this project easier each step of the way. They also communicated clearly and timely. Highly recommend Buckeye Basements.

After Confirmed appt schedule in consulting phone at 6 pm on Friday Dec 17 different people from buckeye basements keep calling and texting message me asking again and again if I am sure want the time, I said yes yes yes, really bother me, feel like they do not trust costumer until the night before scheduled day, a lady called again, asking if I still want the time, I said yes, she keeps saying that she can reschedule for me, I said why I need reschedule since the time already confirmed is the best? she also ask that both me and my spouse must be there at that time, I told her ok.
She still keeps saying she can reschedule for me if both my husband and me can not be there that time. Her tone and attitude in phone made us feel weird and frustrated, my husband is not happy even mad said: cancel, find other company. It's first time for us use Angi find company to do our basement remodeling, the experience is really not good for buckeye basements company's service even the project not started yet.

We used Buckeye Basements to finish our basement, including multiple rooms and a half bath. Communication from the beginning was excellent, and they took the time to talk through multiple questions we had prior to signing. One of the rooms we did was more highly customized and they were able to work with us to design something that fit what we wanted. The project ran on time as expected, and came in on budget. Crews were professional and left a clean work site daily.
Communication was timely and thorough, with a quick and complete answer anytime we had a question. They clearly have their workflows and processes figured out so everything stays on track. We were looking to work with a company that had the experience to do quality work without it being a hassle for us, and that is exactly what we got. They did a great job of providing advice and suggestions for what would be best based on their experience while also taking into account our individual requests/needs. The project finished a couple days early and looks amazing. Highly recommend!
