American Deck once again came through. From concept to completion, Andy Lombardo and his team made everything happen like clockwork. The permit and inspection process was seamless, and we laud American Deck for working during some of the coldest months of the winter. The original deck was built in 2017 -- also by American Deck -- and was engineered to support a possible addition of a porch/sunroom at a later date.

When we made the decision to add the porch with Sunspace vinyl windows, we wanted as much material re-use as possible and Andy came up with a unique design that allowed a "notch-out" in one corner of the new structure to eliminate the need for constructing a "landing" at the top of the stairs to meet Howard County code requirements. Andy also guided us through some enhancements (like radiant heaters and a whiz-bang fan) that have made the space a true "3-season" addition. We couldn't be happier with our new "outdoor" space!

American Deck and Patio built a major addition to our house (40' x 14'), open deck and sunroom in Howard County, MD. They did an amazing job at all steps, from the design to the schedule, and communicated well along the way. There were no surprises! We appreciated the expertise of the team, their attention to detail, and their honesty. Overall it was an amazing experience for us, and we spend most of every day in our new space. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to do any style of deck.

When we decided to replace our small weather-worn and doggie-damaged wood deck with a slightly larger composite one, Andy provided a timely quote with design suggestions, cost options, and complete product information. He answered our questions promptly and facilitated scheduling and construction in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. Once construction commenced, it was completed in 3 days. Bill built an very attractive deck consistent the scale and design of the house despite an oppressive August heat wave and Tropical Storm Isaias. We are so pleased with the result, i.e., good design and excellent workmanship. The Parkton crew is professional in all aspects of their operation and we can recommend them without reservation.

American Deck and Patio in Hereford, Maryland installed my new deck, basement stairs and windows. The craftsmanship of the stairs and deck are beautiful, exceptional and professional quality. But a year later, issues developed with the deck and American Deck would not help to fix them. So I have another contractor working on the deck. I would not recommend them.
