Just went in to shop for a stove for my moms kitchen. I didn't realize they were about to close for the night. No one asked us if they could help us or anything. As soon as we left the store they all came up and left as well. Big disappointment.

Very clean and organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. The appliances are extremely limited. Flooring, tile and cabinets are plentiful.

The worst customer service I have ever received. I ordered a window but the customer service guy (Adam) forgot to put the order in. Instead of owning up to the mistake and try to salvage the order, he claims there was some sort of mysterious glitch. Then gives tells me the order will be 12 weeks out. When I called the window manufacturer, they said 8 weeks max. So another lie. When I went in to get a refund the cashier was about as snotty and rude as could be. She blamed me for the problem. I will never do any business with these people again.

Edited: Came back to order. Waited 50 minutes and there is NO ONE in the whole store that can order for me. Talked to three people, manager is "in a meeting". I was told to make an appointment and come back tomorrow. REALLY? Great experience at Von Tobel in Valparaiso. I had been planning a bathroom remodel for months and was completely overwhelmed by all the options. What should have been a fun project was becoming something I dreaded.

Then a friend told me about Von Tobel and their designer, Danielle. I stopped in and Danielle was able to guide me through, make decisions, and I left with excitement. She made it fun again and now I can't wait to see my beautiful bathroom!
