Used them a few years ago and was happy. Today I have a bad gfi which is nothing but an outlet with a breaker in it. They are $18 at Lowes. Allen wanted $341.00! I told the tech he was out of his mind and opened the door for him. I called to ask a justification of this price and haven't heard from them in 4 hours. I read their response. I did not question the tech's capability of note, the electrician looked at the unit and said he had to step outside to get a price from the office.
Why did he have to speak to them out of earshot? That's scammer action what could he possibly have to say I could not be privy to? I believe they were sizing me up as a mark. I ended up hiring a local electrician who charged me less than a hundred! Allen was trying to charge me over $300 In markup and labor. They told me they had raised the price in 2 years. Not good enough. $341.00 minus the $80 I paid is some markup. I don't what has prompted Allen to take up such business practices such as techs leaving the customer's house so they can't hear the conversation. Again what is the big secret?
