We have been a family-owned business since 1976, proudly serving the Janesville area for five decades. Our founder, Ron Slavin, established the company on S River St in downtown Janesville, and we relocated to our current Newport Avenue location in 1992 to expand our display space. We added Flooring Unlimited as a connected showroom to provide a comprehensive, one-stop-shop experience for our clients. Tessa Dongarra took over the family business in 2014, continuing the tradition of quality products and services her father started. Our 5,000-square-foot showroom is conveniently located just off I-90 and Highway 14, offering a multitude of style options.

We provide personal attention from the moment you walk in the door, treating you as more than a quick sale. Our entire four-person staff serves as both sales representatives and designers to guide your project. We offer free estimates for project scopes ranging from a simple countertop measure to a full kitchen remodel layout. Our service area is flexible, generally extending within a 50-mile radius of Janesville. We are honored to celebrate our 50th Anniversary by continuing to make homes beautiful and functional with expert design support.

Sales & Design

Our sales and design service caters to any project size, from providing a simple product price to assisting with material selection for kitchen and bathroom remodels. We help with every detail for new home construction, including mud rooms and basement bars. We offer free estimates and will do as much or as little as you need, from material supply for DIY projects to coordinating a general contractor for complete installation.

Cabinetry

We offer semi to fully custom cabinetry options, a core part of our business since 1976. Our most popular lines have included quality manufacturers like Holiday Kitchens, made in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Our showroom allows you to explore a multitude of styles to find the perfect fit for your space.

Countertops

We provide a wide selection of countertop materials ranging from practical laminate to elegant natural stone. Our showroom features samples from a variety of vendors to help you compare options. We support your project with precise countertop measures to ensure an accurate fit for your renovation.

Flooring & Backsplash

Through our connected Flooring Unlimited showroom, we provide a complete selection of hardwoods, luxury vinyl plank and tile, carpet, and ceramic tile. Our inventory also includes decorative stone and glass tile for backsplashes. This allows us to help you coordinate your flooring with the trim and cabinetry throughout your home.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness We were working with Becca. She came out and measured. I called two months ago with some updates and a new quote. No return calls and no new quote. Going with Marling Lumber. Their follow through is much better.

I had my first appointment with Becka on October 27th. We talked about what we had in mind for my dream kitchen. I gave her the design I had in mind (my own drawing) and then she came to my home on November 3rd to take measurements. Here I am 7 weeks later and still waiting for a full detailed quote. Seven weeks to get a quote? It's absurd! Definitely NOT recommended.totally a waste of time. I will take my business somewhere else where I feel I'm getting the attention and professionalism that I deserve.

We are waiting on our quote for cabinets for our basement wet bar but Tess was awesome to work with! She was super quick with measurements and had great suggestions for us. She answered all of our questions. We had great service.

If you are remodeling your kitchen or bath do yourself a favor and call Tes, Scott or Becca, these guys will hook you up with the highest quality cabinetry and flooring with the newest trends, plus they have a variety of showrooms to get ideas!
