Custom Decks
We design and construct premium custom decks using Trex composite materials and kiln-dried pressure-treated wood. Our decks feature advanced safety standards, 50-year warranties, and seamless integration with existing architecture. Clients benefit from personalized design consultations, durable materials resistant to rot and splintering, and expert installation that enhances property value and outdoor living enjoyment.
Screened Porches
Our screened porches combine functionality with elegance, using Trex porch flooring and high-quality screening systems. Projects include weather-resistant framing, customizable layouts, and options like Eze-Breeze panels for climate control. Homeowners gain bug-free outdoor spaces that extend usable square footage while maintaining views and natural light.
Trex Decking
As TrexPro Platinum Partners, we install eco-friendly composite decking made from 95% recycled materials. Trex decks resist fading, staining, and mold with 50-year warranties. This low-maintenance solution eliminates painting/staining needs, offering long-term cost savings and sustainability benefits while maintaining natural wood aesthetics.
Pressure-Treated Decks
We build traditional wood decks using premium #1 grade pressure-treated lumber. These structures offer classic beauty with enhanced durability against weathering. Our treatment process includes advanced sealing techniques to minimize warping, providing clients with cost-effective, aesthetically versatile options that complement rustic or traditional home styles.
Sunrooms
Our sunrooms create year-round living spaces with insulated glass systems and energy-efficient designs. Features include thermal regulation, UV protection, and seamless transitions to existing architecture. Clients enjoy expanded living areas that boost home value while providing protected access to natural light and outdoor views.

Dennis Kidd and the Decks by DAK construction team did an outstanding job building our upgraded TREX deck. Dennis Kidd provided expert advice in the design process and his team were professional in every respect from teardown to construction to ensuring no detail was missed. I was particularly impressed by the use of #1 Grade lumber for all the framing and stair stringers. Highly recommend!

I am hoping this company is better at building then driving. Company truck behind me was beeping because I would not go on a caution light until I was sure the cars going the other direction were stopping. Then once on the interstate did well above the speed limit. Not a good way to impress me. Your vehicle is doing your advertising. That would be a no for me.

Dennis Kidd's Dak Construction just completed installing a Trex deck and railing system as a replacement for our existing deck. Throughout the process, Dennis and his crew, especially Holmes and Jimmy, were terrific to work with and highly professional in all respects. They always came to the job site on schedule and left the site as clean as they found it. They worked in a most meticulous and skillful manner. We now have a deck of which we are extremely proud and would highly recommend Dennis' firm for any construction project.
