First time having a chimney inspection and cleaning, Dan was very kind and throughly described my whole set up. Even called back the next day to make sure I'd totally understood one part of it. Had a gas insert installed by Hearth and Home. Rob and his crew came in reviewed our fireplace layout and set to work. They put down floor covers in the area where they were going to be working. They asked me a couple of questions to make sure the installation was just the way we wanted it. They took the time to explain the remote control, and went over safety regarding the gas shutoff. They also showed me how the stove could still work without power (nice to know).
On the "outside" they re-sealed the top of the chimney (looks like it was always that way). They cleaned up after their work and recommended an inspection in a years time just to make sure that the insert was operating at peak efficiency. All in all good all around experience, would definately recommend them.

I am so glad I purchased my wood stove from Hearth & Home. I just had my year anniversary stove check/cleaning. The technicians were very considerate in their manner and respectful to my home while they were here. We ended up having a warranty issue for which the part was immediately ordered and replaced in a time frame that exceeded my expectations. The communication I experienced with the technicians and office staff was pleasant and informative. Thanks Heath & Home!

I called in before hand to see if they had what I needed, which they did! The gal who was working seemed very knowledgeable and straight forward.although the place is a little small they have a lot to offer and a good selection. I was in an out in minutes. I'll go there again for sure.
