Our Ilwaco Plant also provides ready-mix concrete, as well as being the coast's only 'LOCAL' manufacturer of Oregon and Washington state-approved septic tanks and supplies.

A-1 Ready Mix was originally founded in Astoria, Oregon in the 1970's. Kirk Taylor moved here from Washington state in 1997 to acquire A-1. His background in Washington has always been in the construction/concrete industry since high school. In 2007, Kirk purchased the Ilwaco concrete plant that also included pre-cast capabilities.
