Their sales, scheduling and installation people were outstanding; very professional and responsive. I had just refinished my beautiful mahogany floors and send my shades out for cleaning. They understood my concern with UV rays and sent their best technician to install the 99% effective UV films in my apartment. I am now going to use them in my beach home. I'd rate them a 10! They put up samples of different films so I can choose which one I like best to protect my furniture and silk rugs but have no effect on seeing the beautiful view outside.

I had a great experience with Metro Solar. I'd been struggling to figure out a way to drape/shutter/blind the enormous, street level windows we have in our NYC apartment. I wanted privacy but did not want to sacrifice the light streaming into the apartment. I contacted Metro Solar to discuss the idea of a frost film for the windows. They were so helpful: they had a number of recommendations, visited the apartment to see what might work the best, got an estimate to me very quickly and then scheduled the job on a date that worked for me.
They not only did the frost-film with a 3/4 clear frame, but suggested a clear security film (making the windows harder to break) to go under the frost. Everyone, beginning with my initial call through the crew-of-two who came to install, was friendly, polite and professional. Excellent!

My fiance and I had film installed on our enclosed balcony from them and we are very happy with it. The balcony is all glass so we would basically cook out there before we had it installed and it has made a huge difference! I originally had difficulty scheduling a time for them to come out to install film, but I thought the workers did a professional job- they were polite, cleaned up, and there are no bubbles on our windows. It looks great. In fact, I plan to do more windows with the clear film when we can afford it (it is a little pricey).

This company is a scam. I ordered the window film from this company a coupe of years ago. they sent a installer that was totally unqualified and not careful. It moved the ladder recklessly despite being told to be careful a few times. It ended up breaking my Chandelier fixtures. I was fed up with unprofessionalism and reckless, and asked for the damage compensation and full refund. They were being very rude and in total denial of the whole incident. Don't ever use this company!

I called requesting information about installation of window films for work and the owner was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I know I'm not Lincoln Center but, I was looking to actually have someone who is knowledgeable help me with my problem and I would have payed for it too. YIKES!
