We operate Pro-Flo Plumbing & Drain Cleaning as a small, family-run and woman-owned plumbing company based in Danville, Virginia. Our service extends through Southside Virginia and across the state line into North Carolina, supported by licenses, bonding, and insurance in both states. Our customers never have to depend on a voicemail maze when they need assistance; a real local person answers our phone 24 hours a day, every day. In the Danville area, our typical emergency response is 2 to 4 hours. We also believe the cost of plumbing work should be understood before the job begins. For that reason, we provide a quote for approval before starting, and the quoted amount remains the bill. Typical local jobs are priced from $350 to $2,500.Our work encompasses emergency plumbing and drain cleaning, including clogs, sewer lines, and septic concerns, along with water heater repair, replacement, and tankless options. We install or service softeners and filtration systems for hard well water and address wells, pumps, pressure tanks, pipes, leaks, and water lines. Kitchen and bathroom plumbing repairs and upgrades are included among our services as well. We cover Danville, Pittsylvania County, Martinsville, Henry County, Chatham, South Boston, Halifax County, and communities throughout Rockingham, Caswell, and Person counties in North Carolina.

Services
We offer a full range of drain and sewer services, from clearing and inspecting lines to repairing, installing, or replacing piping. Kitchen, bathroom, laundry, basement, commercial, exterior, and underground systems can all require different approaches. For recurring clogs, we look beyond the immediate obstruction and consider grease, soap, hair, debris, tree roots, damaged pipe, and improper slope as possible causes.
Recurring clogs, slow drainage, gurgling fixtures, unpleasant odors, and grease-related backups may indicate that buildup extends beyond one isolated blockage. Our hydro jetting process targets that accumulation by using controlled high-pressure water to clean the pipe walls and flush loosened debris away. We assess the affected drain before proceeding and may use a sewer camera to examine the line. Pressure can be adjusted based on the pipe material, condition, and blockage.
We respond to urgent plumbing conditions with a focus on controlling the immediate hazard and determining its cause. Problems we address include burst or frozen pipes, major water leaks, overflowing toilets, sewer backups, failed well pumps, broken water lines, and leaking water heaters. If a clogged drain allows wastewater into the home or leaves the property without usable water, we can also respond.
Pro-Flo Plumbing detects and repairs plumbing leaks before they can create more extensive problems. We address issues affecting fixtures, toilets, appliances, water heaters, supply lines, and outdoor plumbing, whether the leak is visible or concealed. By locating the source promptly, we help reduce wasted water and avoid unnecessary disruption when searching for damaged piping.
Our piping and repiping service is intended for residential plumbing systems showing signs of deterioration or requiring an upgrade. We look for recurring leaks, mineral buildup, corrosion, pressure problems, discolored water, and outdated materials when assessing the system. The appropriate solution may involve selective pipe replacement or complete repiping. We also evaluate whether new piping could improve flow consistency and water clarity.
We provide practical solutions for damaged residential water lines, from targeted repairs to full replacement and installation. Underground deterioration can remain unnoticed until water surfaces or household performance changes, so we consider signs such as soggy soil, standing water, foundation moisture, or recurring plumbing leaks. Our evaluation helps determine the appropriate work while limiting unnecessary digging.
Our approach to water heater service starts with understanding your household's needs and the condition of the existing system. We consider space, fuel source, venting, electrical capacity, and plumbing connections before presenting equipment options and a clear estimate. Whether installing a tankless model or replacing a traditional unit, we check connections and verify proper operation.
Hard water can leave deposits on fixtures, spots on glassware, and buildup within plumbing equipment. We offer water softener installation and repair to help reduce these mineral-related issues. Before recommending equipment, we test the water to understand its hardness. Proper system sizing and installation can support appliances, fixtures, cleaning, laundry, and everyday household use.
We provide plumbing services for commercial facilities where greater demand, occupied spaces, and limited shutdown periods must be considered. Our team handles repairs, maintenance, replacements, renovations, and installations while communicating with property managers and contractors. We review each facility's water use and plumbing requirements, provide practical recommendations, and coordinate work intended to reduce disruption to employees, customers, tenants, and daily operations.
We offer professional sump pump installation and repair for homeowners seeking greater protection against basement or crawl space water. Sump pumps can experience problems from outages, motor failure, float issues, clogged intakes, frozen discharge lines, damaged check valves, undersizing, age, or corrosion. We identify these conditions and verify that the system operates properly after service.

I was doing a 2nd floor toilet drain that included old cast-iron 4 inch vertical pipe. That pipe had completely deteriorated at the Bell and I did not know how to fix. Pro flow Plumbing came in about an hour and a half. They took a look at the situation and gave me two options. They could fix For a lot of money or they told me what Fernco fitting I could use to reconnect the broken cast-iron Bell to the PVC. I gladly paid the service call charge because their advice was well worth that charge.
I recommend Pro flow plumbing because they could have told me the expensive fix was the only option. Glad to see honesty still prevails for some companies!
