I had an outstanding experience working with Motha Electric. Ron and son Jeff are a father-son business, with an excellent team behind them. They dedicated 2 days to updating the electric in a home we purchased. They were on time, worked efficiently, and were extremely detail oriented. They gave excellent advice on certain products to buy in order to save us money in the long run. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was done safely, correctly, and with care.

These guys were fantastic - definitely would recommend them to anyone. We had bought our house recently and one of our smoke detectors was faulty - this caused us many headaches because we have young kids and it would trigger our whole house.
Jeff was able to come out quickly and get everything replaced quickly and for a fair price. We also had him do additional work on our main breaker board and add a few outdoor outlets. It was all done well and quickly which was fantastic.
We know we will sleep well and safely thanks to the Motha electric team!

After navigating through the MassSave Heat Pump rebate program process (a bit of work, but worth doing), we selected Motha Electric, a long time, local, family-owned Framingham contractor for installation. The installation was completed this week and we are enjoying the wonders of a great AC system! Jeff Motha was a wonderful resource from helping us understand and work with MassSave, to advising us as to the different installation options and equipment makes and models. Jeff, along with Ron (his dad and company founder) along with their well-trained crew managed the installation very efficiently. Jeff was very reliable, answering/returning our calls, showing up when promised and didn’t leave until everything was running perfectly! The crew were respectful of our home, answered our questions and concerns. We have no question that our need for maintenance and service in the future will be handled quickly and fairly. I had a weird situation that I have power but major appliances are not working. My lights were flickering and had weak power so I called National Grid for help. It turned out that I lost a "neutral" outside of my house where power pipe is underground. Thank God that power pole is close to my house and Jeff and his team were able to pull it from top and reconnect it to my house from the roof to bottom. The price was reasonable, also Jeff gave me a good tips to avoid more damage on my appliances. It's first time that I had this situation so it was so frustrating at the beginning. He understood my needs and arranged his schedule to stop by to check t's condition and gave me a quote ASAP. He showed up early on the day of the work and everything was done professionally and nicely. I would recommend Motha Electric to anyone that I know and myself will use the service again if I need any Electrical work. Also they provide financial plan on their web portal as well. When I saw the Google review, I had a hope that it's really good one. Now I totally understand and so glad that I choose Motha Electric for my project.

Jeff was exceptional with the work he completed at my home. I needed my old meter replaced to go solar on my house. Jeff was punctual and very responsive in the quoting process and the installation came out beautiful. I can confidently say that he will be my go to electrician for any sort of work that I need done at my house. I can’t emphasize how pleasant of an experience I had with him, organized, detail oriented and I highly recommend his service.

We bought a 3 floor 6 Bedroom older home which was built in 1910 and it still had knob and tube wiring. Motha Electric completely rewired the entire home. They added extra receptacles and light switches. This also including the cellar. Everything was done without removing any plaster/sheet rock walls or ceilings. They did have to make small holes in a few places which were patched and made undetectable. They kept the house very clean and cleaned up each day. We were extremely pleased with their work and professionalism.
