Highly recommend Umbrella. From the initial visit thru the install the guys were professional, quick and efficient. I got multiple areas done. Whole job took half a day. The crew cleaned up nicely. I was provided drone footage and photos before, during and after to job was completed. Fat roof maintenance and 2 front slate roof replacements. Customer Service is top tier. Shout out to Melvin who was the job Foreman. He gave me a lot of information on the process, staying in contact thru out the installation. Made himself available for questions thru out.

Probably one of the best experiences I have ever had with a professional contractor. They were super supportive, and explained everything to me through out the entire process. 100% satisfied. I would recommend this company to family and friends!

We contacted Umbrella Roofing after enduring over four months of chaos caused by a leaking roof deck directly above our kitchen. Our ordeal began in March 2025, when we hired a different roofing contractor—not affiliated with Umbrella Roofing—whom we thought could quickly address the issue. Unfortunately, that decision turned into a nightmare. The workmanship from the previous company was extremely poor and ultimately made the leak worse. Despite returning four times, they only performed temporary patch jobs, and we were forced to request a full refund.

During that time, our kitchen was left exposed and unusable—cabinets were removed, and the ceiling and walls had to be opened up for drying. We lived in constant fear that each rainstorm would cause more damage.

That’s when we found Umbrella Roofing.
I was incredibly hesitant at first, still shaken by our last experience. But from the very first phone call with Jessica, I felt a difference. Mike came out to assess the property and provide an estimate, and then Melvin, our project manager, led the project with care and diligence. Rocky ensured every detail of the work was executed to perfection. Communication was stellar at every stage.

They were incredibly thorough—conducting multiple water tests to ensure the problem was fully resolved, not just temporarily patched. They also educated us along the way, showing photos and videos so we could truly understand the scope and solution.

This was not an easy job. The Umbrella Roofing team uncovered several points of water entry beyond just the roof, but they remained persistent, detail-oriented, and never rushed the process.

Their work included:
Full deck disassembly and rebuild
Installation of a brand-new EPDM roof
Deck reassembly
Siding replacement
Storm door installation
Window caulking
...and likely more, all to ensure our home was finally protected.

I am forever grateful to Umbrella Roofing for restoring our home and peace of mind. I highly recommend this team and will continue to use their services in the future.

We had a great experience with Umbrella Roofing. Rocky and team worked on our 100-year-old slate roof with the level of care and craftsmanship we were hoping for.

They replaced damaged slate, installed new bathroom fan vents, and refinished our flat roof — all while preserving the original look of the house. They were incredibly easy to work with: responsive, on time, professional, and very tidy throughout the project.

We’re already planning to have them back for gutter replacements. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality work and a team that understands older homes.

Umbrella Roof did the roofing and siding on our new house and we are very pleased. We were impressed from the beginning with their office staff who were super friendly and accommodating and had the sales rep Ed meet us on the weekend when we’re off work. He went over everything and I learned more about roofing than I ever really thought I could possibly know but I am so glad I did! The install was also clear and I had a supervisor (Melvin) going over details with me the entire time and showing me photos and went over everything and made sure it was all cleaned up. Really impressed and I would highly recommend them!

- After strong winds a couple weeks ago flashing had blown off of our roof. We left a voicemail on a Saturday and received a call first thing Monday morning. They were able to get a crew out that day to fix it quickly before the next rain storm rolled in on Tuesday. Very pleased with the quality of work and customer service that they provide. Umbrella Roofing did a great job on my roof! I called them on the Thursday before Thanksgiving, they came out the next day, and the roof was finished on Monday. I was able to enjoy Thanksgiving without worry. The staff was friendly and communication great. The price was affordable.

I received five other quotes for this job, and Umbrella offers the best price relative to the scope of work and quality of materials. When they removed my roof it was clear that additional work needed to be done and they worked with me to complete the unexpected work for a very reasonable price. The workers are professional and completed the work within a day. They are the best roofing company you could work with in Philadelphia and I plan to use them for my biannual roof upkeep as well. Highly recommend Umbrella roofing! We had our whole house roof replaced and found a mold problem in the process. Umbrella roofing had clear communication about the issues and helped remediate the concerns. The Forman, Melvin, clearly explained the new venting system to us and truly it was amazing to see their team work of 5+ guys work 12 hours into the dusk to complete the job after running into an inspected problem. We got several quotes and Umbrella was the most reasonable. The clean up was also well done. Professional team and workmanship.

Ubmbrella roofing did a great job from start to finish. Rocky was out there the day I called to take a look at my roof and we were able to schedule within a week. Price was very fair and transparent with the quote outlining everything that would be taken care of. There was an issue with one of my HVAC units and Umbrella was able to get someone out very quick to fix so they could continue their work, also at a very reasonable price. Melvin did an awesome job making sure everything went smooth and done the way I was expecting. I would definitely recommend Umbrella and will be calling them in the future if I ever need additional services done.

I met with two 5 star rated Google background-checked companys. I chose Umbrella because the salesperson / manager spent a good half hour discussing the problems I was having on my roof. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable which is important to me when I am hiring someone They promptly sent me a detailed contract. The work and workers were top notch professionals and it was a perfect job of residing the rear second floor of my house. I'm extremely satisfied with the work and the ease of communicating with the main office. I definitely would use them again for any roofing or siding needs

Great experience. It was a smooth process from start to finish. I spoke to Scott, he showed me footage of my roof via a drone and offered me several options to choose from based on my roofs needs and condition. The crew arrived on time and the work was done and cleaned up in a couple of hours. The supervisor did the final inspection and I must say I'm very satisfied. I'm definitely recommending this company to my friends and family.
