Carpet Cleaning
Our patented Hot Carbonating Extraction process delivers deeper cleaning with 80% less water than steam cleaning. Carbonated solutions lift dirt from carpet fibers for thorough removal while minimizing moisture. This method reduces allergens like pet dander and dust mites by independent lab testing standards. Carpets dry in hours instead of days, preventing mold growth and allowing quicker return to normal use. We serve residential and commercial clients across Cowlitz County with this healthier cleaning solution.
Pet Urine Removal
P.U.R.T. (Pet Urine Removal Treatment) destroys urine odors at the molecular level using specialized chemical reactions. Our technicians use UV light detection to identify all contamination areas before applying treatment. The process works through carpet padding and subfloors to eliminate persistent pet odors permanently. Unlike masking agents, this solution breaks down urine crystals for complete odor removal. Commercial-grade extraction equipment ensures thorough contaminant removal while protecting flooring integrity.
Area Rug Cleaning
We clean all rug types including wool, silk, and synthetic materials using pH-balanced solutions that preserve dyes and fibers. Our process removes embedded dirt and allergens while maintaining rug texture and color vibrancy. Technicians apply gentle yet effective cleaning methods suitable for delicate oriental rugs. Protective treatments create stain-resistant barriers extending time between professional cleanings. Each rug receives individual evaluation to determine optimal cleaning protocols based on material and construction.
Tile & Grout Cleaning
Professional cleaning restores ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tile surfaces using high-pressure extraction equipment. We remove built-up grime from porous surfaces while preserving sealants that protect against future staining. The process includes pre-testing for material compatibility and post-cleaning protective sealant application. Acid-sensitive surfaces like marble and travertine receive specialized treatment to maintain luster. Results include improved appearance and reduced allergen accumulation in high-traffic areas.
Commercial Cleaning
Customized cleaning plans accommodate offices, retail spaces, and hospitality venues with minimal operational disruption. Our low-moisture method allows same-day return to service for most commercial clients. We handle large-scale projects from single locations to multi-site accounts nationwide. Services include routine maintenance programs and deep-cleaning solutions for high-traffic areas. Certified technicians use equipment designed for commercial environments while maintaining strict safety standards.
Questions
How does Chem-Dry's cleaning method differ from steam cleaning?
Our Hot Carbonating Extraction uses 80% less water than steam cleaning, dries faster, and avoids soap residue that attracts dirt. Carbonation lifts dirt for easier removal.
Can you remove pet urine odors from carpets?
Yes, our P.U.R.T. process destroys urine crystals at the molecular level, eliminating odors permanently rather than masking them with fragrances.
How long does carpet cleaning take?
Most homes complete in 2-4 hours, with carpets drying in 1-2 hours versus 1-2 days required for steam cleaning methods.
Do you offer protection against future stains?
Yes, our Protectant solution creates a barrier around fibers to resist staining, giving you more time to clean spills before they set.
Are your cleaning products safe for children and pets?
Our primary solution The Natural contains no harsh soaps or chemicals, making it safe for families and pets when used as directed.

Always had great experiences with Columbia Chem-Dry when I lived in the area. So now that I live almost 2 hrs. away, I really miss them! They were so helpful in meeting me and getting me some of their cleaner so that I can keep up my area rug. Still, wish they were available where I live. No products beat theirs for really getting carpets clean, and their service is A+.

Columbia Chem Dry did a fantastic job cleaning the carpet for a house we rented. We had some spots treated with PURE for dog urine issues and the carpet came out perfectly! No odor remains and it looks beautiful! The owner, Jennifer, is very knowledgeable, super friendly and helpful and I highly recommend them! She has a team that knows what they are doing!
