Services
Carpet Cleaning
Our Hot Carbonating Extraction process removes 98% of non-living allergens from carpets. Using 80% less water than steam cleaning, we achieve faster drying times while lifting embedded dirt and pet dander. The carbonation method avoids residue buildup, keeping carpets cleaner longer. Commercial and residential services include pre-treatment of high-traffic areas and application of protective stain guard.
Pet Urine Removal
P.U.R.T. (Pet Urine Removal Treatment) targets urine crystals at the molecular level. UV light identifies hidden contamination zones in carpets and subfloors. The enzymatic solution breaks down odor-causing compounds rather than masking them. Effective for both recent accidents and chronic pet odor issues in multi-pet households.
Area Rug Cleaning
Specialized cleaning for wool, silk, and synthetic rugs preserves fiber integrity. Gentle extraction removes 85% of trapped allergens without color bleeding. Technicians apply pH-balanced solutions tailored to rug materials. Drying occurs on climate-controlled racks to prevent warping or shrinkage of antique and oriental rugs.
Granite Countertop Renewal
Non-abrasive cleaning removes etching and water spots from granite surfaces. A food-safe sealer penetrates pores to resist staining from acidic substances. The four-step process includes polishing for a mirror finish. Recommended annual maintenance preserves the stone's natural luster and prevents bacterial growth in porous surfaces.
Wood Floor Cleaning
Low-moisture system cleans between floorboards without warping. Counter-rotating brushes dislodge grit from grain patterns. Protective polish application enhances scratch resistance. Safe for both solid hardwood and engineered flooring systems in residential and light commercial settings.
Questions
What makes Chem-Dry's cleaning method different from steam cleaning?
Our carbonation-based process uses 80% less water, dries faster, and avoids soap residue that attracts dirt. The effervescent action lifts deeper contaminants from fibers compared to traditional steam methods.
How does the pet urine removal treatment work?
P.U.R.T. breaks down urine crystals at the molecular level. The enzymatic reaction destroys odor sources in carpets and subflooring rather than just masking smells temporarily.
Can area rugs be cleaned without color fading?
Yes. Our pH-neutral solutions and controlled extraction preserve dye integrity. We test colorfastness before cleaning and adjust methods for delicate materials like silk and wool.
Is the cleaning process safe for children and pets?
All solutions are non-toxic and free from harsh chemicals. Carpets dry in 2-4 hours, minimizing exposure to damp environments. The allergen-reducing process benefits households with asthma or allergy sufferers.
What payment options are available?
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash payments. Financing options are not available, but we offer seasonal discounts on bundled service packages.

I gave Chem Dry a 5 star rating. First I called them because I spilled Old English on our living room carpet. I made a terrible stain. When I called Lynn was so accommodating to my schedule. Paul came in and worked on the stain first. He felt that he could not get it out. He continued to clean the family room carpet. After he finished cleaning he ask if since he had the equipment he wanted to try the spot again. To my surprise it came right out. He did a fantastic job and explained his other services. Paul was so professional and genuine. I highly recommend Chem Dry. Christine D. North Mankato

We used ChemDry by Rynearson last year for our basement carpet. The carpet smelled like musty dirty socks. Paul came out and did a fantastic job and the odor and dirt were gone. We were so pleased that this year we asked Lynn to come out and clean and polish our hard wood floors. So many years of dirt in the hardwood but their clean and polish breathed new life into our floors. Lynn and Paul are professional and have great customer service. I recommend their services to everyone. Our floors are ready for our Christmas party! Thanks guys! Merry Christmas!
