Services
Double Glazing
Our double glazing solutions enhance energy efficiency and security for homes in Ayrshire. Constructed from German-engineered VEKA PVC profiles, these windows reduce heat loss and noise pollution while offering advanced multi-point locking systems. Ideal for replacing outdated windows or upgrading new builds, our installations ensure long-term durability and compliance with UK building standards.
Composite Doors
Composite doors combine robust security with aesthetic appeal, featuring timber sub-frames and weather-resistant GRP skins. Available in Palladio and Apeer designs, these doors provide thermal efficiency and low maintenance. Installation includes precise fitting and hardware customization to match existing property styles.
Conservatory Roofline
Upgrade conservatory roofs with insulated Guardian Roof Systems for year-round usability. This conversion replaces glass or polycarbonate panels with thermally efficient materials, reducing heat loss and improving structural integrity. The process includes engineer-certified installations and compliance with building regulations.
Window Repairs
We repair double-glazed units, seals, hinges, and frames to restore functionality and efficiency. Services include replacing misted glass, resealing joints, and adjusting misaligned sashes. Our rapid-response team minimizes disruption while extending the lifespan of existing installations.
Garage Conversions
Transform underutilized garages into functional living spaces such as home offices or playrooms. Our conversions include insulation, electrical work, and finishing touches tailored to client needs. Projects adhere to planning permissions and building standards for safety and compliance.

I approached several door and window companies to get quotes and Armour Home Improvements stood out from the out set! No sales pressure, genuine team, honest advice and options given from face to face. Telephone and email communication. Price was fair for an A grade products and a very good guarantee and after sales care along the way. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for their services and I am absolutely delighted with everything. Paul.

Fantastic job at an excellent price. Our two fitters were professional, friendly, knowledgeable. This definitely wasn't the easiest job they've had to do but they worked so hard to get it done and to perfection. We are delighted with our new windows and we will recommend Armour to anyone. Absolutely

John and his team fitted a new uPVC front door with two side panels for my parents. He was very patient with them and even called up the manufacturer to see if they would make a door that they liked! His team arrived on time on the agreed date and fitted the door. We had a little staining that turned out to be excessive activator. Someone was sent to clean it once I notified John. Very professional and so good to have tradesmen who turn up when they say they will AND do a good job! I will be keeping them in mind for other home improvements in future.
