THE PROBLEM:
Small fire on the stovetop filled our condo with smoke and a small amount of soot from a burnt towel and my lithium battery drill. The fire was caused by accidentally turning a knob on the range while replacing an overhead microwave oven. The main issue was the intense smell of smoke throughout the condo.
THE SOLUTION:
We called CAT3 and Nino came that afternoon to assess and we engaged his team immediately. As there was damage to the range, they confirmed that they would remove the appliance as part of the overall plan.
Within 30 minutes we had big air scrubbers running through the condo. The next day, CAT3 showed up in force and the crew washed every surface, horizontal or vertical, including the ceilings, and set up ozone generators to combat the last traces of smoke smell. THe CAT3 team washed all linens, blinds, and rugs. Special callout to BJ, the supervisor for his attention to detail.
The next morning (basically 36 hours after they started) everything looked and smelled fresh, clean, and as if nothing had ever happened. We were under a time constraint because a tenant was going to be showing up that afternoon.
I have nothing but praise for the CAT3 crew and their fine work.

Lets be honestno one ever wants to experience water damage in their home. When ours happened at 9 PM, we were overwhelmed and stressed. Cat 3 Recovery is truly a 5 Star Company. 2 Technicians came to my home to conduct a duct work full cleaning. First, the two techs were at my home ahead of time, had great attitudes, and did an exceptional job. When I inspected the ducts, they looked brand new. We contact them Saturday after Storm. We hired them to remediate our condo. They got in early Sunday morning and gathered our furniture in middle of room cleaned & santanized the condo. Removed 2' of dry wall throughout condo. Price seemed a bit high but we had to react fast. No regrets. Devin, one of owners paid for Damage to refrigerator. Would recommend them.
