Roof Coatings
Our premium elastomeric roof coatings provide durable waterproofing while reflecting solar heat to reduce cooling costs. Using Tucson Rubberized Coatings' 7000 product, we apply two coats at 100-120 sqft/gallon coverage with polyester fabric reinforcement at critical areas. The process includes debris removal, pressure washing, crack sealing, and scupper reinforcement to extend roof lifespan by 10-15 years while maintaining manufacturer warranty compliance.
Shingle Repairs
We specialize in architectural shingle repairs for wind, hail, and sun damage. Our process includes thorough inspections, photo documentation, and targeted repairs of curled/broken shingles, damaged flashing, and granule loss. We use premium Owens Corning, GAF, and TAMKO materials with synthetic underlayment upgrades, ensuring monsoon-ready repairs that maintain roof integrity while avoiding unnecessary full replacements.
Tile Replacements
Certified Tile Roofing Industry Alliance specialists handle concrete, clay, and slate tile replacements. We install 30-40 year peel-and-stick underlayment with proper flashing details, replacing damaged tiles while preserving roof aesthetics. Our process includes wood decking replacement, ridge cap installation, and leak prevention measures for Santa Fe-style roofs, backed by a 5-year workmanship warranty.
Emergency Repairs
Available for urgent roof leaks and storm damage, our emergency service stops active leaks within hours. We use temporary sealing methods while preparing permanent solutions for shingle loss, tile cracks, or coating failures. Certified technicians handle skylight repairs, drip edge fixes, and parapet crack sealing with 24-hour response capability during monsoon season while maintaining safety protocols.
Roof Inspections
Comprehensive roof inspections identify hidden damage with photo documentation. We examine shingle condition, coating integrity, tile alignment, and flashing details while checking for wood rot and ventilation issues. Our free inspections include same-day reports with repair recommendations, helping homeowners and realtors make informed decisions about roof maintenance or replacement needs.
Questions
How long do asphalt shingles last in Tucson?
Architectural shingles typically last 25-30 years in Tucson with proper ventilation, though extreme heat reduces lifespan compared to other regions.
What signs indicate roof replacement needs?
Widespread granule loss, curled shingles, wood rot, and leaks exceeding $5,000 in repairs typically warrant full replacements rather than repairs.
Do you offer financing options?
Yes, we provide financing plans for large projects including roof replacements with clear terms discussed during free estimates.
Are your installers certified?
All technicians hold industry certifications from Tucson Rubberized Coatings and Tile Roofing Industry Alliance with background checks performed.
What warranty coverage do you provide?
We offer a 5-year workmanship warranty on installations with material warranties ranging 25 years to lifetime depending on manufacturer.
Can roof coatings save energy costs?
Yes, our white elastomeric coatings reflect solar energy, reducing attic temperatures and cooling costs by improving roof surface solar reflectivity.

I highly recommend DSR Roofing for their exceptional work, professionalism and customer service. This is the 2nd time we used their services for roof cleanup, skylight and coating repair. It was a pleasure working with Taylor who assisted in quoting and follow-up.

Emailed for an estimate last night, received a call early this morning and the guy came to fix the repair within an hour for a very reasonable price. Service professional was kind, thorough, and showed me all the work he had done. Would definitely recommend. Thanks so much!

Got 4 quotes for roof patching, minor ponding, and rubberized coating. DSR was not the highest or lowest but got me with attention to detail. They were the only company to point out some broken (cracked) tiles above the entryway which they replaced and then sealed the gap between the tiles and the parapet. Well done, 5 star work, highly recommended.

I had leaks at a couple of scuppers and low spots that were ponding when it rained. They pressure washed the roof before doing any repairs. The crew were friendly and were at my house at the time they said they would be there. I will be calling them back to reroof a large porch. Thank you

Could not be happier with their service. Highly recommend. They communicated well throughout the process. We had a house and cabana and the cabana had some bad damage. The team lead Sergio did a great job of communication and addressed my wife's concerns. They not only did a great job on the roofs but also their clean up was perfect. Good company and they give a military discount!

Good job to coat the parapets and a fair price. They did not suggest that the roof be coated or sky lights replaced as some roofers wanted to do at a very high price. Other roofers also said the roof did not need to be recoated so I think DS was correct on that. I think the job was honestly done. Renee was the person who did the work and she seemed careful.

Bill, Justin and William really do bring honesty, integrity and quality back to roofing. Excellent in every way, from first communication to finished roof recoat. Special thanks to Justin and William, they're great people that do meticulous work in a difficult and dangerous business. I hired Justin back on a time and materials contract to coat my Bushman rainwater tanks. He's a superb painter and craftsman, and he takes care of prep and details to make everything perfect. These guys are my go-to for roofing now. Five stars and thanks!

Desert Sky Roofing replaced my roof due to storm damage. The owner Bill came out to evaluate as one of four companies I called. His polite and professional manner, along with The time he took to explain to me the things I needed to know is what landed this company the job. Justin and Josh came out and did the work. Both where extremely polite and professional. Curtious and cautious of my indoor/outdoor animals. Took great care and time to check my yard for any debris/nails to clean up so as not to hurt the animals. I am very impressed and grateful for the service they provided. Thank you Desert Sky Roofing MM

I had a minor leak on my roof and while searching for someone to do the repairs I came across Desert Sky Roofing and after reading the consistent positive reviews I set up an appointment with Bill. He came out and immediately found the leak and offered to fix the leak for free (which is unusual these days). I also asked if he would do an inspection of the entire roof which he did and he throughly explained what he found which included pictures and the process he uses to do the repairs and re-coat on the roof and he mentioned that I was not obligated to accept his estimate. Based on the reviews and my interaction with Bill I decided to accept his reasonable estimate. Rob the person who did the job was very professional and knowledgeable (not to mention that he is friendly and fun to shoot the bull with). Although I am not an expert on roofing the job appears to be done is a quality way and will use Desert Sky Roofing in the future.

They repaired our roof, then Affordable Seamless Roofing replaced damaged gutters - all from the July 2022 hailstorm. Then an edge piece of roofing fell away during gutter work, and Justin returned at no cost, fixed it even knowing the damage wasn't theirs.that it was a home-made fix from years earlier that the roofers could not have seen when here before the gutter guys. GREAT COMPANY and GOOD PEOPLE! Came recommended by two neighbors.

Desert Sky is the bomb! They are professional, respectful and courteous. They did a great job on coating my flat roof. Then a month later after a hail storm hit my house, Bill came and fixed a leak in the scupper on the day after the storm! I had Bill replace 2 broken skylights and decided to replace the other 8 skylights. His price was great and when another hail storm came last weekend I had no damage to the skylights.

Met the owner by getting paired up with him on the golf course. From talking he mentioned he owned a roofing company and I told him how I had recently had some damage to my roof from the monsoons. I have a house that is a pretty new build so I told him I was waiting to hear back to see if it would be covered by warranty. Showed him a few pictures of it and he began explaining to me how a roof, specifically for a new build is built and why it is important to get it fixed asap, especially during monsoon season.

He offered to come look at it sometime the next week after he got off, since he was already completely booked. Met him Saturday morning, he came and fixed my roof Monday evening. Just a nice, honest, knowledgeable guy that completely exceeded my expectations for any kind of timetable and fixed my roof efficiently. Will definitely use Desert Sky Roofing for any future needs and would recommend.

I received the value packet of coupons that come in the mail and there was one for Desert Sky Roofing, I contacted Bill Kimbley the owner, he came out and gave me a price and explained everything they would do, I had an old solar panel on the roof that needed to be removed and he said he would do it and make the necessary repairs. They came out scrubbed the roof and power washed it, fixed all the cracks and coated the entire roof, they came back the next day and put on the second coat.

They were very professional and did everything they said they would do on time. The thing that impressed me the most was I got the coupon discount, a senior discount, 1st responders discount and a cash discount, I have never heard of any company honoring all those discounts, it is always one or the other. I will be recommending Desert Sky Roofing to everyone I know for roofing work. Bill keep up the good work your company and crew are awesome.
