This morning a very nice gentleman responded to my home as reserved two weeks prior. He did in fact call me in notification of arrival as requested and through a bit of surveying my tank location, got right laying hose sections to the back yard. At the start of the evacuation, he seemed to be struggling with the equipment's ability to adequately pull the contents from the tank and so during the entire process.
When asked how long he was with Freedom he replied "less than a month" however he seemed very capable and at no time did he seem timid. Nearing the end he showed me that approximately one foot of solid waste had solidified at the base of the tank and there was little he could do to rectify this. When I reserved this service I believe the receptionist quoted me $150- when asked the driver/tech his response was $240- This as you can understand was disheartening.
Effectively I was being charged 90 extra dollars for almost an empty tank. My feeling that the truck given to the newbie was less than stellar. Not sure who will get the contract next time however I will be sure to search out a company who has the ability to get the job done.

I have used this company in the last few years for septic service. For the most part, I had been pleased. Earlier last week, I called to schedule a day for service. The young lady who answered the phone "abruptly" put me on hold. After waiting for a period of time, I decided to end my call as the call obviously had been forgotten. I called back and got the answer machine.
I left a "pointed" message on their machine explaining that I was not happy about my extensive hold. I stated to please call me back if this company wanted my repeat business. It has been 4 days and no call back. I can only assume that they no longer wanted my business. I feel that if they do not communicate with a repeat customer, perhaps they are too busy to perform the service, as well.
I gave them 2 stars, instead of 1, because the rating is not based on service. However, for the most part, companies should realize that solid and professional communication is the essence of running a good business.

I notified Freedom Septic that a poets pot that they had at 393 Catalpa Trail was really smelling bad and the odor was traveling onto my property I was having a family 4th July Party the next day Called left a message and got a call back by Jody. She said sorry to bad we're closed can't do anything until Monday. So I'm left with a foul smelling ports pot for the Party to enjoy. Needless to say she was very unprofessional in her response and obviously could care less Doesn't sound like anyone that should be providing a Customer with honest service Thanks Freedom Septics for a wonderful holiday to remember

Freedom Septic saved our septic system. My husband and I needed a whole new drainfield and a new tank and freedom was able to be very responsive and thorough with their work. I was amazed with how hard they worked each day they came in the great communication they kept with my husband and I throughout the process. I would recommend this business to everyone as they made every effort to work with us and Ensure that everything was done to our liking. We've used Fogles for all of the 22 years we've been in Mt. Airy but reviews weigh Heavily with me and Fogle's review's are less than stellar. I think they're about 2 1/2 stars right now. so I called my Favorite Plumber (Reed and Sons) and they Highly recommended Freedom Septic Service. A phone call and a few days later, the nicest fellow named Ken comes out and cleans the tank. courteous, considerate, . I couldn't be happier. I've got Freedom Septic in my pocket for all future septic needs. I highly recommend.

I live in Westminster and it was time to clean out the old septic. While I was traveling, my wife called Walsh and found out they were bought out by another company. I had just arrived home and the new company was finishing up. The guy had a major attitude and when I asked how the septic looked he replied "as good as it going to be" whatever that means.
Later I realized that the cap was sitting on top of the pipe and had been pried off. I called them and they said it was the only way he could get it off. Would have been nice if they had told me the cap was just sitting there an inch off the open pipe. I had used Freedom years ago and called them for advice and possibly replacing the pipe and cap.
Next thing I know I get a call from Bruce at Freedom to let me know he stopped by my house and was able to thread the cap back on. I will have the clean out replaced and Freedom will be the only one I would consider. Thanks Bruce.

Great customer service! We received our rental port a potty on a Friday. When I got home from work I didn't like where it was placed so I called and spoke to whom I believe was the owners wife, sorry I didn't get your name! But she sent someone out first thing Saturday morning, he moved it and we didn't miss a beat. Thank you for great customer service, it's hard to come by these days!

Recently rented deluxe portable toilets for my outdoor wedding and was so delighted with this company! From the gentleman who delivered the bathrooms to the office staff whom my mother communicated with, everything was a breeze and we got what we paid for and then some. We had a 200 person wedding and my parents' home was the site of the reception.
We knew their house couldn't handle all that volume so we got 'fancy' portable bathrooms. There were two women's rooms and one men's room. Each had a small trash can, paper towel dispenser, air freshner, toilet (urinal in the mens' room). They have AC units and lights outside as well as occupied/vacant indicators above the doors. Great service and clean facilities. We will utilize Freedom Septic again for our next big party!
