Vinyl Lite Window Factory & Showroom When comparing apples to apples with the larger suppliers, I found that you really weren't saving any money with the big guys. The biggest component for me was they were locally owned, involved in the community and because of this, I knew if I had problems down the road, they'd be here to fix it. Vinyl-Lite had the biggest selection and allowed me to match the shape, size and color of windows in my house today. Please Note* All at-home estimates will follow strict social distancing guidelines set forth by the CDC.
Services
Vinyl-Lite Window Factory & Showroom proudly builds all replacement windows and replacement doors in our local, Northern Virginia Factory to specs. We had a great experience from start to finish. Everyone was very professional and we are very pleased with the final result! The sales representative, Chris, was very thorough on communications and checking things out before, during and after. The windows and doors installation team did excellent work!

This company is excellent. If I could give 10 stars I would. Over the years, as a property owner of multiple rentals, I have used many companies for various upgrades, renovations, service, repairs, enhancements, landscaping, etc. None could compare to the professionalism and excellence as Vinyl-Lite Window Factory. Beginning with their outstanding sales representative, Ashley Becker, who took us through each step of the process of window installation, siding and a quick history of storm doors, and most importantly color - because really, who really knows about color except the people who work with colors on a day to day basis.

Thank you Ashley. The windows were installed in 1 day, all checked and rechecked by well experienced window techs. The caulking was precise, careful about every detail, not a gap to be seen. The siding was installed the next day. It was 20 degrees and there they were - 7:45 AM dressed to work. In the cold. Nonstop. The workers politely answered all my questions. Overall, the top grade materials and workmanship are exceptional. Oh yes, the customer service AAA +

On a cold day in January 2022 a Vinyl Lite crew of three installed a new bay window and replaced 11 others. To date I am very pleased with the quality of all the windows and felt no pressure to purchase them. My windows were scheduled to be installed at the end of November but because of the problems with getting material the windows were installed in January. It was worth the wait but suggest that Vinyl Lite contact the customer if the installation day were to change. I would use this company again.

We talked to quite few window places before deciding on Vinyl-Lite, they weren't as pushy as many others which was nice. Their prices were great and windows seems comparable or better than others, but I was mainly concerned on the quality of the install as many people online say that is where things can go wrong badly. I wanted someone local so it would be easier to resolve if there were install issues and and it was helpful being able to go check out their showroom just down the street.

The windows took a lot longer than expected until they were ready, but not their fault, supply chain glass shortage I guess. Once ready they called for an appointment and then later got all the windows installed the same day. We looked them over afterword and they seem installed very well with good quality windows. Would highly recommend.

Terrible customer service. If I could give negative stars I would. Initially I was impressed when they came out fairly quickly after I called. The salesman gave me his information and told me he would have a quote for me the following week. I cut some slack because that was Thanksgiving week. But after 2 1/2 weeks of not hearing anything I sent him an email asking when he might have a quote ready for me.

When I didn't get a response I called the next day. The girl who answered the phone put me on hold, then came back and said he was at a sales appointment but she could see that he was working on my quote and I would have it by the end of the day. That was three weeks ago and I've not heard a word. She clearly lied to me, or was told to lie to me.

In the meantime I met with another company who actually worked up the quote on the spot. They had a contract over to me the next day, and also informed me that I would need an electrician to move one wire and that there would be some very minor painting to be done after the window was installed. The Vinyl-lite rep told me nothing of this, and I'm sure it's applicable across-the-board. Don't waste your time with them. They lie, they give incomplete information and they don't follow through.

This may have been a well-run business at one time, but my advice now is to AVOID Vinyl-Lite at all cost. While all door and window suppliers have been impacted by COVID-related delays, the owner here literally adds insult to injury. The website and online brochure imply that windows and doors are made in their own facility, eliminating the middleman.

That is patently untrue, at least in the case of entry doors and storm doors. And after Vinyl-Lite quotes a price, if the supplier announces a price increase, the business owner, Mike, is quick to pass the increase on to the customer, hoping it won't be noticed. Mike's brother passed away earlier this year leaving Mike way over his head in running the business. Mike finds individual homeowner customers to be an annoyance and responds with snarky, shouting (ALL CAPS) e-mails.

While he may not mean to alienate his customers, he needs to take a day off from work and attend a crash course on customer relations. After paying thousands of dollars for doors and windows, I don't feel I'm being unreasonable in asking for delivery status - but apparently Mike does. His niece Anna is a breath of fresh air, but unfortunately Mike calls the shots here and you have to put up with his abusive tantrums and take-it-or-leave-it attitude if you want his products. As for me, I will never do business with Vinyl-Lite again.

We had our deck door replaced by Vinyl-Lite and were absolutely thrilled with the entire process. Anna was very responsive and knowledgeable. She guided us through the entire process, addressed any concerns we had, and kept us informed. Our installer, Park, was extremely professional. He clearly takes great pride in his work. He performed a very clean install and took his time to ensure everything was perfect for us. We could not be happier with our experience and would recommend this company to others.

My windows were installed with no issues. I never did get a response to any of my emails, sent over several weeks, the most recent 2 weeks ago. I sent one final message last week and the owner responded by yelling (in all caps) at me. Customers definitely are not always right, but my frustration was evident as I was ignored multiple times. I did not, however, once yell at anyone.

I guess I shouldn't be, but I am shocked that an owner of a business would respond to a customer in such a way. I definitely will be going elsewhere when I replace the remaining windows in my house

Absolutely terrible. We ordered from them 18 weeks ago! The lead time they told us to expect was 6-8 weeks which we planned around it. We put down several thousand dollars and they have completely left us hanging. They won't even answer their emails or phone now when they know it is us. They are just completely untrustworthy. The windows look nice when you go in, but don't be fooled, they can't actually make them. We aren't sure what recourse we have at this point. Don't be like us.

We've had a really really terrible experience. We ordered windows 18 weeks ago. They promised 6-8 weeks. We planned around them and put down thousands of dollars. They won't answer our calls or emails and we aren't even sure how to get our job done at this point. I'm not sure they are able to actually make the windows we ordered, but they won't tell us one way or another so it's hard to say. It certainly looks nice in the showroom, but I think it's just literally for show and they are not capable to actually deliver on the pretty things you will see there.

Dealing with Vinyl Lite has been one of my best experiences. 1) I'm a project Manager in construction, no time for nonses 2) Sales was Easy to the point no up sales got my order right first time. 3) Installations Crew super cool and clean again no games just making things done. 4) Quality of the windows was great THAT WORKS FOR ME 100%

STOP LOOKING! These are the people you want to redo your windows. Family-owned and operated locals that make there own high quality windows with a guarantee that can not be beat. There quality doesn't stop at the office or manufacturing facility. There installers are top notch and have a great eye for detail and proper building standards. I can not say enough good things about Vinyl lite windows.

They were the easiest and best contractor I delt with during my home renovation. They did what they promised and more at the price agreed upon. Call them! You will be happy that you did.

My experience on this place! I went to this place around 1pm and trying to get a quote for some windows from one of my project, it was this guy to help to find the rights windows, we start talking with him (here we go) went he hear our accent he star talking louder and trying to speak Spanish or trying to say some words like making fun of the Spanish language, went he was showing us some window he was slammed the window and start raising his voice, finally he kit us from the show room and saying we cant pronounce "WINDOWS" what kind of business is this, I really don't recommend going to this place and plus if you have any accent speaking or you are foreign country. I don't think no body should be treated this way, feel sorry for the owner of this business for what type of employees have Here is a photo of the guy

Definitely would never do business with them again. Garden window was a good design in principle but poorly fabricated -- most seriously, it was out of square. Interior shelf was wrong size; promised replacement never came. Expecting a single openable vent window on top but came with double vent windows on top but frustratingly only one openable. (What's the point of having a vent window that will not open?) Fabrication was appreciably delayed relative to promised date.

Most serious of all, I was lied to repeatedly by their sales representative who is evidently a son of the owner/founder. This company is without integrity and has extremely poor product quality control.

Nothing short of outstanding. The crew was pleasant, professional and answered all questions and concerns. I was a little bit wary of taking the lowest quote, because they are much much much cheaper then the next 4 quotes from local contractors. My turnaround was two weeks from deposit. My 8 foot sliding doors look amazing, quiet and solid. Thank you Matt and company for making this purchase hassle free. I will be doing my windows next with Vinyl Lite.

This company does great installation work and has great quality windows. We recently sold the house and the windows definitely helped. My issue was with my sales rep. My sales rep was extremely aggressive and he lost it when we wanted to hold off on the installation for a few months. Over the phone he screamed at me and accused me of "d**king him around." I left a message for a sales manager afterwards who called back immediately and his kindness was why my family stayed on board.

We had 4 sliding doors replaced by Vinyl-lite. Outstanding products and great installers. Vinyl-lites prices were even cheaper than Pella, Jeld Wen. We almost went with Pella with Lowes, but their warranty was garbage. Vinyl-lite gives you a lifetime warranty, compared to some of the other big companies who give you a very limited warranty. The installers were great.

I have no complaints about the purchase process, the sale rep who was very nice, no harassing phone calls. I look forward to getting my windows replaced by vinyl-lite in the future. You should definitely, call vinyl-lite if you are reading this review.

We recently had a BAD EXPERIENCE with VINYL-LITE WINDOWS honoring a contract they signed to perform work on our house. On March 13, 2018, we signed a contract with Vinyl-Lite to perform capping work in the amount of $1,380. A $276 deposit was made as required by the contract. On April 24, 2018, after more than a month of not hearing from anyone from Vinyl-Lite regarding the scheduling of the work, I emailed the sales agent to inquire as to the status of the job.

He emailed me a response stating that he left me a voicemail message 3 weeks ago and that Vinyl-Lite was not going to honor the contract because the job was ".too far and too small." This was the first notice we received from Vinyl-Lite that they were not going to honor the contract. In addition, no one from Vinyl-Lite contacted us regarding the refund of our $276 deposit. (Vinyl-Lite finally refunded our deposit on April 25th after I requested a refund).

I made numerous attempts to contact the sales agent by phone, text and email to discuss the situation but he never got back to me. There was no effort by Vinyl-Lite to offer any remedy to the situation. Also on April 24th, I talked to a Vinyl-Lite manager. He was very condescending, rude and disrespectful when I said Vinyl-Lite had a signed contract to perform the work at an agreed price and that they should honor their agreement.

The manager tried to tell me that the terms and conditions of the contract provided Vinyl-Lite a right to cancel - while there are terms in the contract for a 3 day right-to-cancel by the purchaser, there are no such terms providing Vinyl-Lite a right to cancel. When I asked the manager where such terms could be found, he merely replied that he was not going to honor the contract because he would not make any money on the job On April 25th, we emailed a letter to the owner of Vinyl-Lite explaining what had happened.

We asked him to reply to our concerns. To date, we have not heard anything from the owner of Vinyl-Lite Windows. Needless to say, this experience has soured our interest in doing any future business with Vinyl-Lite. They are MISSING OUT on THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS of future work with us.

This is my first review ever but we are really upset with Vinyl-Lite. We were in the planning stage of building a new house and this past July we went to Vinyl-Lite to look at their windows and to discuss our building plans. I wanted sky lights but the sales person directed us to a solarium they have on display instead. We really liked the solarium and decided to go with this solarium instead of skylights.

During the building permit process, the County requested specifications on the solarium. In addition to making phone calls to Vinyl-Lite to get these specifications, my husband also went to their location. My husband was so frustrated with their lack of response. It took a month for someone at Vinyl-Lite to finally get back to us - only to inform us that their supplier no longer carried this solarium.

How long does it take to make one phone call to your supplier? They held up our building permit for a month! So now we have to look for another manufacturer of solariums (the solarium has been drawn up in our floor plans) delaying our building permit even longer. We were going to order all our windows from Vinyl-Lite but are now reconsidering. Obviously they are way too busy (can't even make phone calls) to be bothered with an approx. $20K window order (w/o the solarium).

Vinyl-Lite is amazing! I am a Realtor and they have saved my clients thousands of dollars several times. I am able to bring them a window and get it repaired the same day for a great price! I have dealt personally with Matthew Bouchery and Josh Shields and both are very trustworthy and honest. I recommend Vinyl-Lite any time I get. It is so nice to have a local company I can rely on!

So far, this has been a disappointment. I ordered Windows so that they'd be installed before the cold of winter. Vinyl lite forgot to place the order. Two months later, it's getting cold, I already paid a deposit and still nothing. I did receive a promotional mail piece with a referral form, assumably to refer people, yet I still DON'T HAVE WINDOWS.

I would've saved this review until I (hopefully) got new windows if I had not received a referral request after they lost my order and still haven't completed it. It's very poor business to ask for referrals before the work is done. So they want my review, here it is.

We had all of our double hung windows and 2 patio doors replaced by Vinyl Lite. We found them on Yelp. We looked at several places in the area and we're not only impressed by their product, but also the fact that there was a friendly no pressure atmosphere at the company. We weren't rushed or pestered like other places, and were able to take our time shopping and comparing other companies.

The prices were very fair and were in line or even a little cheaper than the other places. It took about 6 weeks between the order and the installation. The install went very smooth and their own installers were very good and fast. Everything looks great. Overall we are very happy and would recommend to someone else. Definitely go to their showroom if you are looking - it really helps to see the windows firsthand.

If you go there to buy a replacement parts call before you drive there! The guys not always there. I want there couple of times to buy some parts and only twice i was able to complete my raid there. Dont get me wrong, this place looks like they know what they doing with the big jobs. but my experience with them wasn't that good. i hop next time they make it work for me.

We chose Vinyl-Lite to replace two windows in our home and were happy with the product. The one area I would say could use improvement is in the area of communication. I'm not sure if it was because our job was a small one, they are short handed, or there's some other issue but it took quite a while to get phone calls and emails returned.

Everything from job initiation to installation and again from installation to the follow up to re-do window caulking took longer than anticipated due to lagging communication. All in all, we'd use Vinyl-Lite again and have already recommended them to a neighbor who has also replaced a few windows with them.

Think twice before you contract with this company for the replacement of windows. Here, word-for-word was my written complaint to the company: "There was a communication breakdown between the Hispanic work crew and myself. Their limited command of English had me wondering what they were trying to say to me. After the work was completed, the general clean-up was lacking in its finer detail. Miniscule pieces of aluminum, sizeable shards of glass, and small chunks of wood remain strewn throughout my front and back yards.

Inside of the house, I'm still finding large metal screws and slivers of aluminum siding material all over the floors. I was giving a 'quickie course' by a crew member on how to open and close the windows. It would have been nice to have some written instructions and illustrations on how to do this. Had I known that the wooden window frames installed on the inside had not been finished (e.g. painted or stained), I would have said 'no thanks' to Vinyl Lite's services. Bare wood is sitting in window spaces containing splinters, rough edges, gouging, and an improper use of a nail gun has left sharp exposed pieces of nail visible.

I will need to find a general contractor with sufficient carpentry and painting skills to finish the inside of the windows! The inadequate installation of the wood window frames points out that Vinyl-Lite management does not believe in the golden rule of the general contracting business -- quality control! Quality control defined simply means that the job is done so well, so perfect, that the crew cherishes their completed project as a piece of fine art. Further, attention to quality control ensures more business for the general contractor via call back and word-of-mouth recommendations." In all fairness to Vinyl-Lite, the company was given the opportunity to come to my home to correct these problems.
