Total Energy Service was incorporated in 1977 by Gerard Andeskie, a graduate of Rutgers University's engineering school and a long time employee of RCA, where he worked on the NASA space program. Since his retirement in 1994, his son Andy has continued his vision to provide highly efficient, cost effective, engineered HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems to the homeowners of Central New Jersey.
Repair or maintenance of your duct-ed HVAC systems - we service all brands and specialize in Trane. Your service appointment will be scheduled for a 2 hour window - no waiting around all day for a serviceman to show up. If replacing a furnace/heating or air conditioner, a free appointment must be made with the owner, Gerald (Andy) Andeskie.

We got quotes from 5 contractors for having AC installed in our 90 year old home. We did not have existing duct work and a ductless mini-split system was the best choice for us. Andy spent the most time of the 5 contractors thoughtfully assessing our house and providing a detailed proposal. The pricing was fair and in line with the other quotes (and 30% cheaper than our current heating company!). Andy was very responsive to all my questions and emails in advance of the work being done.
He told me exactly what would be happening and when. The electrical subcontractor he recommended was equally responsive and detailed. The installers, Bob & Brandon, were terrific. They were early to the job each day, friendly, respectful of our time and property, clean, and hard working. We had 4 ductless units installed. They consulted us on placement and did a great job.
They were equally careful and clean with running the refrigerant lines in the basement and down the sides of the exterior of the house. My father was the most careful, precise guy with home projects. When Total Energy Service finished this job, I told Andy that I wished my Dad was still alive so he could see what fine, professional, careful work they did.
We could not be happier with the new system. It's so whisper quiet after 15 years of noisy window units to cool our house. The cooling is evenly distributed throughout the house. Total Energy Service was a great choice for the job. They are total pros, and we are completely satisfied.

I have used Total Energy Service twice now. The first time was in 2016 replacing an existing heating and cooling system. I was so pleased with the work and professionalism, we went with them to add a central AC to the house NY lady and I bought recently. They still do great work and were a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them.

Andy and TES are consummate professionals. Andy spent time with us going over everything, explaining complicated concepts in a very easy to understand manner. His staff were also all professional, on time and clean. The systems work very well, and they are very detail oriented. The pricing was fair, and my wife and I strongly recommend TES for all of your air conditioning and heating issues.

I have been dealing with TES for a very long time. They have serviced (and installed equipment) in three of my houses (and many of my families houses) over the years. I have always found them to be honest, caring and professional in all my dealings with them. They have always promptly returned my calls and performed service calls quickly. I had them install a new central A/C system in my current home last month.
Obviously I haven't used it yet but the installers were extremely careful of my house and belongings, were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves. Would highly recommend this Company to anyone looking for heat and/or A/C service or installation! Andy, Bruce, Ed, Steve and Javier have always done a great job for me and my family.
