We had a great experience with Swartz. The team was easy to work with and treated our family with respect. They remodeled our home while we remained in the house. They worked around us smoothly and allowed us to feel comfortable in a home under major construction. My son got off of the bus while they were finishing their working day--he still asks about the crew and remembers their kindness and "bbq chicken on the grill." I would definitely recommend Swartz to those needing restoration or remodeling.

A few weeks ago, I unfortunately had water damage occur at my house. I was unaware that my outside hose faucet had frozen over the winter, so when I turned on the hose for the first time the pipe burst in my basement ceiling and water went everywhere. I didn't know this had happened until 2 days later when I went into my basement and there was water everywhere.

My team came around 8:30pm at night and helped start the extraction process. Having this happen to my own house gave me and my family a new understanding of what our customers go through. Im proud of our team and how they cared for my family like they do our customers every day.

My father finished our basement. It was his passion project from start to finish. All wood molding, fixtures, and a bar were handmade straight from his workshop. My father passed away this December (2021) and we are still reeling from our loss. His woodworking is our small remembrance of him. As we move our mother to a new home, and prepare our old home for market, our basement flooded. Swartz responded to our emergency.

The care provided was so above and beyond. We are already under duress with my father's death and the flood was much extra unneeded stress. The thought of losing my father's woodwork was a tremendous fear. If we lost the baseboard molding, then it probably forces us to re-do most of the basement since all other woodworking starts from matching those hand-made moldings. Swartz salvaged the moldings and nearly everything else sans the padding.

This was a job well done - but not why I even take the time to pen this review. What was above and beyond was the human interaction, the care, the consideration of the situation we were under. The Swartz team worked so hard to fix the problem and to alleviate the stress. My mother literally cried tears of joy over the care and over the outcome. You salvaged a small part of my father in fixing that basement. That will be remembered by this family until the day we all get to re-unite once again. Thank you - your humanity does not go unnoticed.

Swartz Restoration and Emergency Services is the best in Ohio! My parents have used them several times to dry out their basement when the sump pump has failed.
