After visiting Sunspace Design's web site, we met with Tom Nigro its President and discussed our dream plan for a small working greenhouse. We wanted something substantial, attractive and functional. We are avid gardeners, winter over plants in our cellar, start seeds in the spring, repot plants, and love the idea of having flowering plants and greenery year round. Sunspace designed the perfect fit for the location we wanted to use, worked around an obstacle that couldn't be relocated, and created an ideal space for our needs.

Its is a beautiful greenhouse with its double paned glass, heated floor, screened vents and ideal design. We are very pleased with the final result. There was a deadline to meet, and the greenhouse was constructed on time. Sunspace Design people are great to work with and we appreciated their attention to details, the on-time meetings and quick replies to any questions we had during the construction process. We are very pleased with the final result. Brian and Paulette Chernack York Harbor, Maine

This firm is amazing, combining cutting edge technology with old word craftsmanship and skill. They recently completed a year round Conservatory facing the water in Maine which I have told them they should submit to Architectural Digest. In addition they have done a great deal of remodeling work in the house itself, which involved a highly complicated matching of timbers and panels which they did brilliantly.

And unlike certain other firms if they say a project will be finished on a certain date you can be sure it will be, even if they have to work weekends to make up for the latest Nor'easter. As Tom says 'our goal when we finish is to make it appear as if we've never been there.' I can not recommend them more highly.

We couldn't have been happier with Sunspace Design for the ridge beam skylight they provided us with for a project on Martha's Vineyard. The application posed several difficulties that most other skylight companies were unable to contend with, but Sunspace was able to meet all of our needs. The main challenge was the 2:12 roof pitch we were trying to match with the skylight and the goal to do two large bays of glass on either side of the skylight ridge beam instead of four or six bays. Sunspace was also able to use the finish and flashing material that matched the house, creating a seamless transition from house finish to skylight finish (interior & exterior). With a minimalized frame to glass ratio, we were able to achieve our goal of the sky being what you see when you look up, rather than the framing. It is beautiful!

Sun Design recently completed a sunroom for our home. We are completely satisfied with their work. They were never distracted when working. The team worked continuously from arrival to departure Their concentration and attention to detail was commendable. Kept us constantly informed on what they were doing and were always courteous and willing to answer all questions.

We bought a home that included an aging sunroom. When necessity dictated a replacement, we had a hard time figuring out what to do. Glass, wood and metal all expand at different rates, we were advised, and even a high-quality new stick built room would be vulnerable to deterioration and leaks. We hired an architect to help us find a contractor, and eventually landed on Sunspace Design.

They designed and built a room that was better than the one it replaced, and had a novel roof design. It was not inexpensive but it wasn't the most expensive option either. Five years into living with their work, I am finally getting around to writing this review. The room is gorgeous and looks as beautiful as it did the day they finished it. We live in it all year long. This is the best contractor experience I have ever had - thank you sunspace design!

We purchased a home with a greenhouse room that eventually needed to be replaced. We were uncertain where to turn and interviewed a number of contractors. Eventually we hired an architect who helped us choose Sunspace design. We are so glad we did! They built a beautiful, watertight room with a soaring roofline - a space we enjoy everyday. The company was professional, on target and easy to work with. I recommend them without reservation!
