This exterior wood refinish project in Northeast Portland is a great example of restoring a natural wood accent on a modern-era home. The old finish was likely a low-grade exterior polyurethane that was applied at the time of construction. It had little UV protection and was failing as a home exterior.
Quality interiors make an impression through the clean separation of elements, often achieved by the color or finish of adjacent painted surfaces. Craftmanship counts in maintaining these sharp distinctions between wall and molding, balusters and railing, creates stunning interiors, vintage or ultra-modern.
To attain finishes that are as stunning as they are durable, Sundeleaf expertise delivers a level of craftsmanship and excellence that will add value to high-end cabinetry in looks alone, not to mention protecting it from chipping, peeling, or performing short of expectations. Do you have high-quality cabinets?
Sundeleaf Painting's reputation for wood refinishing and restoration in the Portland Area is unmatched. For interior or exterior woodwork, Sundeleaf's painters achieve glorious results, especially restoring the craftsmanship found in many of Portland's old, grander homes and office conversions. With exteriors, over time, elements may degrade wood's appearance and structural integrity.

I have a nearly 100 year old house that I've lived in for 30+ years. I have used Sundeleaf several times. I have used other painters for various reasons but none has come close to the quality and workmanship of Sundeleaf. The interior walls and woodwork that they've painted are as close to perfect as you can get in an old house. The first time they painted my LR the painter found a slightly scorched area on the plaster, under some wallpaper.

He opened it up and it turned out to be some old wires that had not been properly capped off. Some would have probably not opened it up and just painted over it. They are on the high end of the bids I've received but are, in my experience, well worth it.

Sundeleaf has been great on the two projects we have worked with them on. I also am having them come look at our next project this year. Their work has always been above and beyond and most importantly headache free;-

I have not hired Sundeleaf painting yet, but look forward to the day that I do. I have heard from many that they are the best of the best. They come highly recommended as some of the most talented and skilled painters in the business. It's unfortunate that a bad apple can spoil your rating. I hope others that know your reputation will speak up and support the quality companies and allow the brightness of positivity to wash out the shadows that linger among us.

We hired Sundeleaf Painting to do our office - an 1880's Victorian - last summer. They were very professional and did excellent work.

I have been looking for a painting company that will come give me an estimate for spray painting all of my interior doors. I called Sundeleaf twice and no one has returned my calls. Rude and unprofessional.plain and simple, especially given that Sundeleaf promotes on their website that they have a special spray painting booth. This does not leave a good first impression. How can a customer trust a company to follow through on their work if they can't be bothered to return a call.
