But more importantly, we constantly aim to supply a kind of quality craftsmanship that distinguishes us from other homebuilders. Great experience! The home is beautiful and in a beautiful neighborhood. Buying a new home can be a bit stressful, but the two people that have made our experience with Lennar a real blessing are Matt & Jamaal. They work in post move-in support and have taken care of any issues we've had. Thank you, Lennar! Service: Home building

My fiance, my friend and I started looking at Lennar last year around July 2020. We found a lot, signed a contract and started getting the "Next Gen" home we wanted built in Conroe in the Greystone Hills subdivision. The lender (Lennar Mortgage previously Eagle Mortgage) at the time pre-approved us and asked us to pay down credit cards, sell my home in San Antonio and move to Conroe or surrounding area and get jobs here in order to get qualified for the loan.

I sold my home of 7 years, quit my job (so did my friend), packed up our lives and moved to Houston on 11/28. We were able to stay with my fiance's brother, lucky he let us stay with him. We get jobs and paid of credits cards, we did what was asked of us. Fast forward to the end of January the loan officer (Nancy) with Lennar mortgage contacts me, doesn't have a clue about how much money we have already paid on upgrades ($13,000), earnest money ($5,000) or the actual amount of the home.

She then tells us we need to pay off more credit cards and that she would see if we even qualified for the home. She calls us after all is said and done to tell us that we can not get the loan. Nancy had no clue what she was doing from the get go. Needless to say we are now homeless. They are willing to give us our $5,000 back but not the $13,000.

My fiance, my friend and I are all hard working first responders, we took money out of our retirement funds to pay the design studio and our debit they wanted us to pay. This is not right and they should return all of our money. I have tried to contact Tony Nguyen, a management at Lennar and have yet to get a response. We will continue to fight for the return of our money.

Home has a plethora of design flaws, mortgage company is a mess and title isn't any better. Would never recommend using Lennar to build your home.

I am in the process of buying a home from this company. I put three stars because I can't speak on the quality of the home yet. I can say I don't like how complicated they word their cc&r's. Also to make it clear you can not legally Airbnb your next suit out per their bylaws. Information I would have loved to have understood prior to getting so far in the process. Canceled contacts will result in forfeit of any deposited money. Per previous reviews I can only hope my home does not have many issues.

Being a real estate agent, I would never suggest a buyer buy a Lennar home. I purchased a home for myself and have had nothing but problems. Customer Service doesn't help you with anything. Buyer beware! I've had so many problems and no one is fixing anything! I've lived in Las Vegas 35 years i've never had a problem with Kb Homes or DR Horton. DR Horton was the best by far.

A home purchase is supposed to be a happy thing, no one answers their phone and no one resolves the problem. I've put in multiple requests for everything and they make excuses saying it's my fault and they're not fixing it. RUN!

We've been waiting outside in the cold for over 20 minutes with our clients. There are about 5 other buyers all waiting to get inside the building aswell. Pretty shocking lack of care even with Covid.

Bought a new construction Lennar home for about $600k and moved in July 2019. We're very happy with the house, but there have been a few minor issues with it. In short, just about all of these issues have to deal with the craftsmenship/attention to detail. Lennar did come and fix these issues. Some examples are: 1. Caulking in one bathroom started cracking a month after we moved in. 2. Exterior mortar was applied a bit sloppy (maybe too much mortar was used). 3. 2 of our ceiling sprinklers needed to have new holes drilled because the covers kept falling out. 4. 2 of our interior doors wouldn't latch when completely closed. 5. Drops of paint were on basically every floor surface.

The one issue that hasn't been addressed because of COVID is the carpeting in our master bedroom closet is lifting up. I've submitted a ticket online and was told they have suspended all non-emergency repairs until after COVID. I figured this would be the case, but I wanted to get in their system anyways for warranty purposes. We like that we didn't have any design/layout surprises with the house, and the house was identical to the model aside from decor, color, and flooring (which is how it should be).

Some builders like Toll Brothers put every upgrade they can into the models as well as features you can't even get. Lennar showed us their product, we liked it, and we got what we were shown and expecting.

Like Patty J. If I could give Lennar a big fat "O" I would. Not about the purchase experience or the home itself, or the employees that we met. Our complaint is that this company is heartless and greedy. On January 28, 2020 we made an offer on a condo in the Lennar Hudson development in the District area of Henderson Nevada. It was one floor on the second level and the only access was a long and steep stairway from the ground floor. Lennar accepted our offer and we gave them a $3,000 deposit.

Within a week after submitting the offer our small dog, Bayley, was diagnosed with SARDS, Sudden Acquired Retinal Deterioration Syndrome and within a week after that she was completely blind. It's a real thing and that's how quickly the animal is affected. Needless to say, my wife and I are devastated and we have all been trying to adjust to the new reality.

As much as we wanted to go ahead with the purchase it became clear that having a blind dog and steep stairs would not work, so less than thirty days after our offer was accepted, we regretfully, through our agent, told Lennar that we could not move forward with the purchase. They refused to refund our deposit. If you think this company has your best interests in mind. Think again.

Cannot get anyone to respond to my repeated requests to have home warranty offered. When trying to close the sale, they were very responsive but when it comes to standing behind their warranty and providing service - they are treating us like a bad relationship - ghosting is! Drainage is terrible and numerous requests to get it fixed have resulted in new sod being put down. Maybe ankle deep mud in the backyard is a new trend that I am not familiar with. Grass is so 2018.

I got my home from Lennar back in December 2017. It is not well-built. The customer service and sales person are also not good. My sales person is Lanette. Once you buy a home from her and key is handed off to you, then she cut off all contacts with you. Before she was good at quickly responding back since she is trying to get her commission, but after she got what you needed, she is done with you.

I tried calling her many times, but I received no reply from her that I just give up. As for the customer service, they don't keep their words. I have problems with our house, and their response is very slow or just ignore your emails and calls. They are only good to you when you are still under warranty cuz they are required to fix all the problem for the first year.

But after that it is hard to reach them. Our house has a leakage problem and I was told we are still under warranty, but no one has come to fix it or tell me what is the next process. I am still waiting for it. The kitchen cabinets are also not installed properly. They will come loose a few times and then you will have to screw it back in. The same goes for the refrigerator handle, kitchen faucets, and the bathroom towel racks.

I don't know how many time I have to fix it. The garage door bottom strip is also torn. So our garage is very cold during winter time. I showed it the Lennar people, but they haven't done anything to it to fix it. The carpet is also not installed properly. Sometimes when I walk on my carpet barefooted, I get stabbed from the nail or staples used to attach the carpet to the floor.

I showed it to the Lennar people, and they told me to use the hammer to hammer in the nails. Seriously?! I don't recommend buying homes from Lennar. It was a big mistake!

Coming from a family of land developers dating back to the teens & 20's from Orange County California do yourself a gigantic favor and avoid these buffoons at all costs. nothing but a nightmare shit show - wouldn't trust them to assemble a Duplo Leggo set; it their life depended on it with more problems than the Mexican Air Force!

If I could give Lennar a big fat "0" stars I would! A very good friend of mine moved into a brand new townhome at Beacon Hill in Las Vegas in early December of 2018. From the day he moved in there have been nothing but problems. Initially, each time his neighbor ran the washing machine water leaked from that unit into his. Turns out the plumbing was not connected correctly to his neighbors machine. Then, on December 28 he was preparing his home for a weekend visit from me when suddenly the sprinkler on the 3rd floor went off literally flooding his entire home!

I won't even go into the details of how terribly he was treated when this occurred. My main concern is how terribly he is being treated now. Since his BRAND NEW home is completely unlivable he has been staying in a hotel type accommodation so his house can pretty much be rebuilt. He is being required to pay for his hotel room, food and other expenses (for example, an electric till he got which is very high due to the equipment being used to dry out his place).

The builder has said they would reimburse him for his expenses 3-5 weeks AFTER all of the renovations are completed. This could take a couple of months! My friend does not have that kind of money and even if he did, that's not at all fair since none of this was his fault. In the meantime he is having to go to work every day and also deal with the builder and all of the B.S. with no compensation at all for his pain and suffering.

He doesn't even really want to move back into the property because he is so mistrustful of the quality of the work there. Unless Lennar turns things around 100% for my friend there is no way he or I would ever recommend this builder. On the contrary, turn and RUN!

This one big star is JUST for the builder because adam and the sales team are polite and accommodating. Extremely disappointed with the loan process through American mortgage(their company). we closed on the home 2 months ago and they still keep asking for more paperwork. In two months they sold our loan to a different company without telling us. I feel its my duty to report this to yelp for people to see.

My advice is to find a loan company you trust or a different bank before buying a Lennar home. Work with the builder not their mortgage company. Ive had a very bad first time home buying experience. Btw, they changed their name from amricna mortgage company to Eagle home mortgage. Beware.

We purchased a model house from Lennar a few months ago, and agreed to the house being in an "as-is" condition. Major mistake. Since it's a model, Lennar will not warranty their work. Instead, they purchase a third-party warranty good for one year. We have had nothing but problems. Doors have fallen off the hinges, locks refuse to work, air conditioner condenser needed replacing, microwave issues, sink leaking. Seems to never end.

All of this within the first three months. The warranty company selected by Lennar is not very good, and Lennar refuses to assist in any way. Very shoddy construction, and total lack of support. The sales manager and sales people have been condescending, and not helpful. They suggest that all homes need lots of TLC. Possibly, but not as much as we've had to do. We've purchased model homes from DR Horton, and have great support from them. Never will purchase from Lennar again. Stay away!

Great location with more than enough parking and a one stop shop for all your Lennar home needs, the new home design center title company and loan office in onw building it doesnt get much better than that.
