Because Salzer Plumbing would not take the time to look in their own files for a receipt for their installation of my hot water heater, I lost an $875 warranty replacement of my hot water heater. Without the receipt, the warranty company went by the date of manufacture on the water heater that Salzer Installed. When I asked the owner if he would help me he told me he would ask his secretary if "she had time" to look for a copy of my receipt in their files, but that he would have to charge me for her labor.

He couldn't tell me how much that would cost or if he/she would even look for it. I explained that I would lose the warranty replacement of my hot water heater without a copy of this receipt. Not really his problem and a lot of work for them to look for this receipt. I cannot imagine a business running this way. If they won't even look for a receipt in the name of customer service, I wonder what they will do when they have to back their service when there are problems. They cost me $875.

I would concur with the comments of the other reviewers. The workmanship of Wade was excellent but the rest of the experience was not. He helped us right away to cap the water problem but then wasn't back for four days to complete his job. He criticized us because when we remodeled the shower we didn't put in a wooden wall rather than leaving the cinder block wall.

Cost was a big factor in that choice. My husband had to cut the hole larger for him and help with the job holding items, etc. When we were told the amount for the repairs, we just about fainted. I had gotten paid that day and it took my whole paycheck. I had worked 96 hours that pay period, he worked a maximum of 5-6 hrs. Sense a discrepancy in pay? Usually we don't publish a bad review but in this case, we feel like we were the fools for using this company.

Scheduled appointment and he never showed up. Called me back after I left message and told me that he forgot about the appointment. Not so good first impression. Decided not to reschedule and to find another plumber.

They did great work for me. They were extremely fast and friendly. They came out on a weekend and the price was less than I anticipated.

Bernie at Salzer Plumbing is the best plumber you can find. He is friendly, and does quality work in a timely manner. He has been the plumber on HGTV's Bathroom Crashers which says a lot about how good he is at his job.

Can't recommend these guys at Salzer Plumbing highly enough! I got in a jam over the New Years Holiday and called another company first. They sent a rookie out that spent four hours at the house, most of it on the phone to his boss. He never did fix the problem and caused an additional leak in my garage and messed up the upstairs plumbing that had been working fiine until he got there.

I called Bernie, at Salzer Plumbing. He sent one of his guys out to help me out. The plumber arrived on time at my rental property, diagnosed immediately what was going on and had the whole thing fixed in about 15 minutes. Don't hesitate to call these guys. They were the best!

Ridiculously over priced. I needed one shut-off valve replaced, an easy job that I had considered doing myself. I even helped the plumber with the job, holding tools, etc when he needed me to. Then he charges me more than $350 for less than an hour of his time. Never again will I use this company, and I dont wish this theivery on anyone else.
