AVOID AT ALL COST! From day one, Reardon has been a nightmare to deal with. Their salesman, Mike, overpromised and under delivered on all aspects just to get the contract signed. Starting with excavation, half way through, with a huge crater in my yard, they wanted to renegotiate the excavation price and material volume to be removed. Even after we paid extra to have the original agreed upon amount removed, they still did not excavate as requested.

My wife and I actually took up pick ax, shovel and jack hammer and removed another 40 yards of material by hand ourselves, so that the project would be completed properly! While I did expect some damage to my yard due to heavy equipment, they completely destroyed the front lawn and almost killed a tree. The entire lawn now needs to be replaced. Very sloppy work.

The pool build itself seemed to go smooth.until. The pool coping was done in the wrong color and Reardon refused to fix until I was able to provide photo proof of our color selection. The salesman had written the wrong color down. Rather than simply fix the problem and move on, the owner, Randy, decided to bring us into the office for a dress down and hissy fit.

He threatened to walk off the job before completion. Remember, his people screwed up, not us; the client. We had to go round and round with debate and arguments to get resolved. Only after we "bent the knee" did he agree to finish the project. The instruction on how to run and maintain equipment and water chemistry was quite lacking and consisted of a handful of equipment manuals and a 30 min verbal run through by one of their employees.

We were left twisting in the wind, literally. Follow up service or customer care has been non existent. Their service techs do not call or text back, simply give you the run around. And nobody seems to know anything or be able to answer a question. They provided ZERO help with winterization and to date no help with start up. Overall, pool fit and finish are poor, non of the parts are standard size (skimmers and return lines) making winterization a unique challenge.

The pool has settled/sunk quite a bit and even the switch to the auto-cover was faulty. I ended up replacing that myself rather than deal with them. And finally, opening this spring I notice the blue pool surface flaking off to expose bare concrete. Awesome. My wife and I have had to become our own pool techs, equipment experts and water chemists in the mean time. HORRIBLE.DO NOT USE. Con artists!

I am a General Contractor here in Colorado. I reached out to John as I was in a pinch for 8' 2.5 pvc sch-40. With the on going pandemic there is a major shortage for this specific pipe. I had a deadline creeping closer and closer which John and his team were able to get me the product free of charge. This is something they did not need to do and I am very greatful that they did.

Reardon did a fantastic job on our pool. We are so completely happy with the final result. The contractors and salesman were very easy to work with even during COVID. Took a bit longer than we anticipated, but the end product was well worth the wait. Services: Design, Roadworks

If you want to feel like a valued customer versus an inconvenience don't go with this company. I've never dealt with a owner of a company as a customer and get reamed out about having concerns about the finished product. In my case I'm still waiting for my final inspection to pass after over 6 months. Reardon basically washed their hands clean of the electrician they use and have left it up to me to get their electrician to meet code requirements to pass inspection.

I give two stars instead of one because I believe my rep Mike tried to meet our realistic expectations but he was handcuffed by the higher up. I'd love to provide a better review but just can't with the radio silence service model this company seems to follow.

Very disappointed with Reardon Construction, almost immediately the Blue Quartz plaster started failing, they sent a technician out approximately 3 times to do epoxy repairs which would discolor and one quarter size area came off where you could see the plaster was paper thin, plaster was not applied properly to the industry standard of 3/8 to 1/2 inch thick, after going back and forth with Reardon for over a year and my wife and I obtaining a independent analysis of the plaster, then Reardon to their credit came out and re-plastered our pool, ( recommend anyone who decides to use Reardon make sure you get the plaster thickness in your contract), a few days after the re-plaster I noticed one of the main drain vents in the deep end was not flush like it used to be, probably got a piece of plaster wedged underneath it, I attempted to tap it down and if owned some scuba gear I would just fix it myself, I let Tim the service supervisor know about this and sent him a picture, he was not getting back with me so eventually I called Reardon and left a message, a week or so goes by and then I get an email from Tim stating how they just did a very expensive re-plaster and said that we are outside of our one year warranty and we should handle it ourselves?

I said you took it off just recently and reinstalled it incorrectly! After numerous emails to Reardon, Micah the manager emailed me and stated they would only come fix the main drain vent if I agreed to give them a positive review here? The worst customer service I have ever encountered, not backing your workmanship. The attitude of management acting like we should be grateful that they re-plastered our pool is nothing short of shocking, Good luck to anyone who does business with Reardon, they lack in customer service skills and apparently do not take pride in their product delivered.

We bought a new home and decided to add a pool to our backyard for our children. We interviewed 3 pool builders and chose Reardon Construction aka Pool and Spa Experts. While we have not completed the pool, the finished product is quite remarkable. Tim and Micah were professional and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a custom pool that is both eye catching and properly built you should consider the Pool and Spa Experts.

The whole entire team at Reardon has been great to work with. From the initial consultation with Mike, to the team on site during the build. Mikah the operations manager was updating us periodically on the status and schedule and checking progress on site. Final result was a beautiful pool, on budget and ahead of the timeline we were hoping for. I would highly recommend Reardon and the team for your next project.

This was my second pool that was done by the Pool and Spa Experts and they did a great job on both design help and pool installation. Mike was great to work with very responsive. They kept to the schedule and the price was lower than their competition. I would not hesitate to use them a third time! Thanks Mike! We have had a Reardon Pool almost 7 years. It has provided wonderful family memories! It has even helped keep our 3 boys around the house, so we can spend family time with them. Recently we noticed our pool was showing some of its age, plaster was becoming discolored and tiles were chipping. We had several companies come out to see how we could make it "Shine Again". Well, to our astonishment either we were told nothing could be done, or the only thing that could be done was an awfully expensive and time-consuming re-plaster and tear out of all the tile.

This is where the Reardon Construction team came in. Randy's team took one look at it and said, "no problem we will have it ready in 3 days" And it did not cost us anywhere near what an extensive plaster and tile redo would cost. The crew showed up on time, worked hard, cleaned up after themselves and finished on time. The pool looks brand new. I cannot tell you how pleased my Wife and I are, and all our guests notice it too.

There are a lot of choices for pool companies and I have dealt with other pool "experts". I can say this for sure, there is only one choice in Colorado. Reardon Construction! Thanks Randy! Eva & Marty

We worked with John for our pool. He was great from the very beginning. He worked within our budget, came up with a great design and was flexible when we ran into some issues with our site/soil. Overall, we had a great experience with Reardon when they built our pool. We love our pool and would definitely recommend them to anyone. Hope this helps!

One more time, Reardon has constructed a fabulous pool! Our first pool by Reardon was perfect for our rather small backyard. We loved it so much that when we moved, once again Reardon built us a larger, "smart" pool that is stunning. John Herr lead the way for us as we made decisions and he tirelessly went back and forth with the city to see us through the permitting phase. John is a gem of a human being and we are so grateful for his expertise as well as the entire Reardon team. Tim Nollet has fielded many of our questions and fine tuned our pool for our needs. All of our pool dreams have come to reality starting the moment we sent our first inquiry to The Pool & Spa Experts. Mr. John Herr came out to our property with in hours to share the excitement of our decision to get an in-ground SPOOL! (A 10 x 16 year round spa with therapy jets/plunge pool that can be cool in the summer & heated at anytime). The equipment chosen has proved to be very efficient & the auto cover makes maintenance & protection from the elements an absolute dream.

The work crews were so professional, friendly, considerate, detailed & attentive, we could not have asked for a better experience. There are so many moving parts to installing a pool & it was amazing to watch the entire process go from planning, to plumbing, to shotcrete, coping & tile, to the very final plaster & fill. We could keep track of all the work planned on a very up to date google drive calendar that was shared with us too.

This was great to see what was coming next. John Herr did a fabulous job working with every aspect of the design. He is a talented, knowledgeable, caring & devoted individual, which is what we needed to rest assured our pool project would be the outstanding finished project we'd hoped for. Our spool has created a back yard oasis for relaxation, family fun & hours upon hours of delight!
