From Our Website

If you're looking for a plumber in Richmond or Central VA, our plumbing staff can solve your problem. Our plumbers are professionals with many years of experience and can handle minor or emergency plumbing repairs as well as major plumbing overhauls. Being without hot water is a huge inconvenience! R.J. Tilley can repair or replace all types of water heaters, including electric, gas, and hybrid water heaters for your home or business. If you're looking for a water heater upgrade, we have several options including water heaters with warranties up to 20 years!

Rick and Judy Tilley began the business in 1976. Our goal, at the start, was to add a truck a year, but after the first six months, we already had five trucks. The business has continued to blossom since that time. We now have 26 employees including master plumbers, quality craftsmen carpenters and three separate divisions. All our helpers go to apprenticeship school for 4 years and work here while they're in school. We pay for that. Our design staff has continuing educational programs available through NKBA.

The plumbers at R.J. Tilley Plumbing & Heating, Inc. are experts in water heaters with many years' experience. Our plumbing technicians are well-trained and know the in's and out's of all kinds of water heaters including electric, gas, hybrid, and tankless water heater models. In many cases, water heaters can be repaired. Our water heater repair specialists can make an assessment of your water heater based on age, condition and other factors to help you make the most economical decision. Sometimes, water heaters don't heat water properly because they need to be flushed and cleaned.
