We had an older mini split unit in an addition that was not working properly. Called and they sent someone out within 48 hrs and got it working (Tech was polite and fast). The bill was as agreed upon. A couple of weeks later the unit had a different problem and the technician and Anna worked with manufacturer to find the proper part (under warranty) and they worked with the manufacturer to troubleshoot the issue.
As it turned out, the part was not the issue and we continued to have trouble, but that was due to the manufacturer giving mis-information and the condition of the unit. Anna and the tech discussed some options with us, and we chose to purchase a new unit. It was installed the following day at a set price and it was definitely the best choice for us. The techs worked fast, wore masks, explained how it worked, and were very professional and polite.
As it turned out, the part was not the issue and we continued to have trouble, but that was due to the manufacturer giving mis-information and the condition of the unit. Anna and the tech discussed some options with us, and we chose to purchase a new unit. It was installed the following day at a set price and it was definitely the best choice for us. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! A few weeks ago my grandmother's AC went out. She called Paducah Heating and Air. A guy came out around 430 and was there for about an hour. While he was here, he proceeded to break her water faucet at the back of her house. He had to shut her water off. He did a few things to her unit to try to get it going.
No luck. He said he had to leave to go to another call but promised he would be back later that evening to fix her faucet. He never came back. I had to call them the next morning and tell them she still didn't have water and he never came back. The lady in the office said he would be back that afternoon. I told her again that he never turned her water back on.
The lady said the guy never told her that my grandmothers water was off. She did reroute him to her first that morning to fix her faucet and we agreed on the phone that she didn't have to pay for their mistake. fast forward two weeks, my grandmother receives a bill for $259. So basically she paid $259 for a a guy to come out for an hour, clean a few things on her old unit, break her faucet, turn her water off, promise her he would be back to fix it that evening, never came back, left her all night without water, I called them the next morning to come back out, they said she wouldn't owe anything, then they come fix it, then she gets a bill for $259.
So I called them this morning to question the bill. I said why did that cost $259? The same office lady said well honey he was out there for 6 hours! I said yeah fixing a problem he created not her unit! She said if I would have charged u for the 6 hours he was out there then it would have been a lot more! I said no it shouldn't have cost her anything because he broke it and we agreed she didn't have to pay and this bill is ridiculous.
She said well I'm sorry u feel that way. And I said and that's why we chose not to give you our business for a new unit and I hung up. These people ripped my 90 year old grandmother off. Poor service.
