One Call Handyman Service

Lindsay at One Call has always gone above and beyond to help with projects at my parents' home. I don't live in town and the extra attention they give is greatly appreciated, and the work they have done has been excellent.

They handled a simple job that turned into a very complicated one after finding termite damage. With little stress as possible. They gave me multiple options at fair prices. Will absolutely call again!

This was a horrible experience all around! I made my appointment two weeks ahead disclosing ahead of time the amount of work to be done and was quoted a $40. On the day of the appt. no one had shown so I called the office. They ensured me someone would be there shortly. 30 minutes later still no one had arrived. I called back and we identified they had the wrong phone number and address on file and the estimator and receptionist upon not getting in contact with anyone didn't think to call me back on the number I had called them on previously.

They sent someone out who arrived an hour later than the scheduled appt., who I later found out was the owner. He was not amenable and presented himself with an annoyed disposition. He didn't take full stock of the work to be done and didn't ask me about the $40 fee that I was supposed to pay. A week later I call to check on the estimate and am told that it would be a $250 fee to get a full estimate. The owner didn't feel the need to tell me any of this on site. I received no follow up communication, nada. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!

Great Company! They helped me complete a long list of items needed at my home in order to sell. I am a single woman and felt very comfortable with the technicians and the office staff. Affordable and knowledgeable. It makes me sad to see some different reviews, but my experience was top notch and I would refer them to anyone.

Horrible service! Owner refuses to ensure satisfaction and no one inspects final job. Disrespectful, rude, dishonest. Lied about military discounts. Unreliable. Over charges, exploits women. Poor quality as they do NOT hire professionals! Their own employees complained about low pay for their work due to the company pocketing the bulk of it!

They refused to give me a quote for repairs in my home caused by flooding. I still do not understand why they are refusing business with me. I just need a quote! How does someone refuse to come out to do a quote with no reasonable explanation. If they are "booked" or "overbooked", they should have never told me I would get a call back TWICE. Great way to treat your Military, not.

I have never experienced refusal of any business. I'm still in shock. I hope it wasn't my Mexican accent. Yes, I am playing the race card since I am still confused. Now to search for better business.

We've used this company for some repairs and updates around our downtown office and were extremely satisfied with the work done! Highly recommend them.

Total rip off.charged me $398 to fix 2 light bulbs and 3 smoke dectectors. if I could give them 0 stars I would. they prey single women as far as price inflation. for 10 minute jobs. told me my smoke detector batteries needed replacing. when that did not solve the problem after paying $249.said well batteries have been replaced we will have to send an electrician and you pay them. DO NOT USE THEM. prices are ridiculous

Not terribly impressed, to be honest - even if they had a staffing issue. Had a person give an estimate, and he seemed knowledgeable and friendly enough. Told me I'd get an estimate in 3-5 business days. Two weeks later, I called asking what had happened. Their office manager has quit unexpectedly, I was told, and they apologized profusely and said they'd contact me the next day. Unfortunately, even though the owner himself called and apologized, they failed to deliver what they promised on multiple occasions - the estimate was not itemized as I'd been told (and requested), so I had no idea what each of the nine projects I had the estimator look at would run.

In addition, when they said they'd do something, it occurred a day or two late. They did refund what I paid for the estimate in full (note: The payment for an estimate is put towards anything you decide to have them do), but overall I was not impressed by the price given and the lack of attention to detail/communication.

Had them come out a week ago to write an estimate which the charged $58 dollars for. The guy was here 15 min. Never got a call back and when I called the lady said this is business as usual.
