Olympic did a beautiful job taking out a dormer and reshingling the whole house and garage. They were prompt and professional and diligent. I only wish more contractors were like them. Minimal disruption, good cleanup, great communication. Will hire again. Services: Roof installation, Roof repair

Great pricing from these guys but they scraped black marks all over a 6 month old paint job on the house and offered nothing to fix it beyond "well I can have a guy touch it up but it's not going to look right." Gee thanks for creating work for me Olympic! I'll think of you while balancing on a ladder fixing your mess! Service: Roof installation

I had my house siding replaced by this company and am so very sorry that I did. When the job was completed we noticed some things that concerned us and notified their sales rep. He never got back to us. We lost siding on the very first windy day. We also noticed that they broke a window and screen in the garage when their ladder fell over. I have called more times then I can count.

The president of the company will not even acknowledge us. His right hand man seemed sympathetic at first so I had some hope and even that has proven fruitless. I have had to have several of the more serious shortcomings repaired at our own expense to prevent further damage. Holes left in the siding allowed rodents entry in our home.

The Tradewinds in Salisbury is a townhouse style condominium complex with 16 units working on replacing the 20+ year old decking. The condo's management company paid $5,000 to Olympic Roofing to obtain the building permits and create architectural plans for 32 decks and 16 front entrance steps. There was some concern on having a roofing company handling a large deck job, the management company decided to move forward with Olympic.

After a few months, Olympic provided they didn't have a good enough understanding of current deck building requirements and provided plans that were so inadequate that they couldn't be called building or architectural plans. The condo Trustees requested to be reimbursed for a portion of the fees paid since the invoice billed was for building permits which were never provided and for architectural plans which were severely lacking.

After an initial conversation where the owner said he would consider it, he finally responded to what was likely an internal email where he wrote, "this guy is nuts", asked how he could invoice an hourly rate and how he can charge a hire amount as a licensed contractor and engineer. I would be nuts if I ever expected to be paid a premium rate for a job I never completed and considered a crayon drawing as architectural plans.

But I shouldn't be so mean calling the plans crayon drawings, that is an insult to kids everywhere! An interesting side note, the one good review is from Val M who seems to be the Olympic employee responsible for finding a way to charge the condo association at a hire rate.

I had to get my house ready to sell and called on them with a very fast turn around time schedule. I had a pretty long list, the work was interior, exterior and every minor detail. I am not kidding, they did it all, what an amazing crew! I highly recommend them! They are Absolutely incredible, they finished it all. Even after it was finished if there were small things that needed fixing they came right away and took care of it and it was done before my open house. I am so grateful for such a professional crew. Loved Julia and Mike, God Bless you all at Olympic. Truly incredible!

The TLDR of this review is DO NOT USE THEM. Find another company. I don't know where to start with this review but I know it will not do justice to how bad this company is. We hired them to do roof replacement, paint the house, repair clapboard and install gutters. A decent size job and a good chunk of money to do this work. I foolishly looked to Google reviews and saw 4.3 stars, they must be decent. WRONG.

Every step of the way was a new problem and issue. Trying to schedule any work with the PM assigned to us, Mike Connors was near fruitless. Would seldom respond to emails, would not respond to voicemails and when asked about schedule, he would ask to call back then never do so. All of the labor they used on this project was subcontractors (Also, look up the owner of Olympic and his trouble with paying employees) who did not respect our property.

There were plants destroyed, trash left all around the exterior of the house. Nails EVERYWHERE. They would show up unannounced and knock on the door asking what to do. Due to a host of issues regarding performance, experience and workmanship I had been working with Lewis from their office on settling our last payment. We had talked about a reduced settlement.

After not hearing from them for 3 weeks (18 days) I received a letter from a lawyer threatening collections. Beyond the fact that they think the way this project went, should qualify for full payment the disregard and disrespect to not contact me directly once again speaks to this companies ethic.

If "unprofessional" and "incompetent" had business names as definitions in the dictionary, Olympic Roofing would be next to both. Working with this company has been an absolute nightmare. We contracted with them for a $40,000 project-- new roof, partial siding replacement, full house and garage paint, gutters, skylights. From early on there were huge communication issues, like roofers showing up unannounced/unscheduled, causing chaos with my dogs and my work from home schedule.

Often they would show up unannounced and ring the doorbell to ask one of us what work was needed to be done that day, rather than what a professional, organized company would do with their contractors which is simply explain the project for the day. Is that not the point of a project manager? There have been messes left EVERY DAY a crew is at our house, including apple cores, candy wrappers, and about 50 rusty nails strewn about our back deck just waiting for someone to step on and get tetanus from.

They completely destroyed 8 plants from total disregard for our property. Lattice was installed incorrectly. Fascia boards were put up unevenly. Anytime we needed to discuss something, good or bad, we would get deferred or worse, no response. Our project manager misquoted us at least 5 times which drove the original prices up another $7,000. When push finally came to shove, we were told he was removed from the project and now we are working exclusively with the director of field operations.

I assumed this would improve things as we entered the final stages of the project. He made a big show of how everything would be corrected and moving forward we'd have no issues. And then two days later, the same BS started again. His excuses were the same as the first project manager's and has tried lying his way around everything. He is so customer-centric that he even hung up on me. DO NOT work with this company.

If you value your emotional stability, your wallet, and your time, do not give them a moment of your time or a penny. Go anywhere but Olympic. Also, make sure you Google them and check out the multiple litigation suits they've been involved with through the Attorney General's office. Nice people, evading taxes and cheating their employees out of benefits.

If I could give zero I would. Didn't start the job for 2 months after contracted start date. No communication from Mike Connors that I didn't initiate. After speaking to the office manager and requesting my down payment back I finally got an actual start date. When the day came, Mike never showed up. They roofers installed wrong colored parts, destroyed an awning, didn't remove the old roof completely, and left more trash and nails around the yard than imaginable.

This was especially annoying since it was pointed out we have small children and couldn't have roofing nails left in the yard. Clean-up was a top priority that Olympic failed miserably at. I withheld 2/3 of the payment since none of the workers collected anyways. I was able to get money off the total but still concerned about the quality of the job. I should've hired someone else. If you are reading this you should definitely hire someone else.

Olympic installed a new roof for us about a year ago. During the install, the owner tried to upsell on extra unneeded materials while the actual installer and I disagreed. Not the biggest deal, whatever. But now we have two roof leaks that restarted after they had supposedly fixed them. One of them never really stopped leaking and one restarted about a year after they fixed it. Now these leaks are ruining our recently renovated room! I reached out to the owner a month ago and have yet to receive any response at all. STAY AWAY!

Can I give zero stars? Mike Connors lied repeatedly about both when the project would be started and when it would be finished. He lied when he said his crew was experienced with old houses and experienced with the materials Mike ordered for our house. He lied when he said he had all the required licenses and would pull a permit. The truth will haunt this man and his boss, George Vasiliades, until they both end up in jail.

We've been trying to find and stop the source of a leak in our rooftop condo unit. After having two roofers out, we finally called Olympic. They sent two guys to investigate. After doing all the checks that other companies had done, they suggested deconstructing a portion of the cladding near the roof; I would never have thought to do that. After exposing the underlying building structure they were able to identify the problem.

So what we thought was a rubber roof problem, turned out to be a metal cladding problem. I was so glad that they were able to deal with both. They fixed the cladding problem and put things back in order; you can't tell we ever had anything done -- except there's no leak now! The people who did the work took great care wrt virus considerations when working around our house and could not have been more professional and conscientious. I would have been willing to pay more for a solution, but I'm glad the cost was within our budget.

Olympic Roofing Did an excellent job when they install installed a new roof on our house in Rowley MA this spring. When I called them for a quote, they came out the next day to meet with me and I got the quote the next day. The roof was installed three weeks later and took only three days. They used high quality materials installed according to the manufacturers installation instructions.

I know, because I watched the installation videos on the website. They protected my bushes and the deck behind my house. The crew was very professional, friendly and practiced good social distancing policies. When the roof was done, they cleaned everything up that day before they left. They even picked up all the loose nails left from the initial roof demolition. All in all, we are very pleased with the excellent job that Olympic Roofing did for us.

What tf? This company's car just cut me off in traffic in the tunnel license plate S23027. I was in the front of the traffic line and he was trying to merge and pass everyone. I was beeping because he almost took off my mirror - what kind of company is this? Teach your employees how to drive especially when they are using your businesses car. Screw if I am ever gonna recommend these guys to anyone

We got our roof done by Olympic a few years back. Their main roof crew was good. The salesman was pushy as heck. They also got me a couple guys to do the gutters and those guys were basically drug addicts. They did the work at night. Talked on the phone for chunks of time. They sat in their truck and hung out in my driveway for two hours one late afternoon.

Completely insane. Damaged the roof the other crew worked so hard to put down and had to return to replace a section. I spoke to my salesman who could not be bothered because he was on to another commissioned job. My gutters have leaked since the day they were put up. Olympic didn't care one bit. Cashed the $24,000 check though.

Had a roof installed November of 2014 to the tune of 12K, the roof is now leaking with water coming into my home in February 2015. Called them and they blamed ice dams not shady work. The house has survived 28 years with no leaks or ice dam issues. They remove the old roof and install a new one suddenly there are multiple leaks. Yes we've had record snow but this is New England and we have had similar heavy snow at times without any leaking! There explanation doesn't explain how there were no ice dam issues before and now there are problems. Shoddy work seems like the issue!

I would give them no stars if I could. These guys are the epitome of sketchy. I have worked with them before, and expected as a former customer I'd receive at least responses. After calling numerous times before we got hit again with snow, leaving messages, I finally got a call back from one of their 'managers' in the field, Ramon. He said they could get someone out in the next day or two.

I then asked if they would honor the email special they sent me for 2 men/ 2 hours, $395. He laughed a little and said, he'd have to check with his office girls that day and get back to me (this was on Monday or Tuesday of last week). I'd spoken to one of the office girls before I spoke to him (she had serious attitude as an aside) and she said as long as I had the email, they would of course honor it.

I called Ramon at the end of the day, called again the next day, and again the following. After leaving voicemails each time, I received no call back. I tried to call the office and got their after hours (full) answering machine every time I called. I not only contacted them before the rush that has sent businesses into not answering their phones, but was additionally ignored when I asked if they would honor their special. I will never work with them or contact them again.

My needs are too small for them! That is the response I got when requesting a quote for roof repairs and a skylight replacement. Other quotes I received were between $2000 and $3000, but apparently Olympic can't be bothered with such a small job. They must be doing incredibly well to be turning down work. I did have the option to wait until they were no longer busy and then they might be able to give me an estimate.

That is just the level of customer service they can offer. I can not rate the quality of work as they refused to do any for me, which as it turns out might have been a bad business move. I was going to judge them on their quality on this small job and then hire them for a $40,000 remodel project that I wanted to start in the spring. Guess they are just too big for that one as well and probably too big for the condo upgrades I want to do to my other property before putting it on the market next fall. Maybe they will find out about this post and realizing that saying no to a smaller project might have just cost them close to $100,000!

I can only say that I called and emailed repeatedly for someone to come & give me an estimate on a job. No response. Crickets. Another company came and had it done within a week.
