Mr Electric I had them replace a fuse panel with a breaker panel and the job was done exactly when they said it would be done and at the cost they quoted. The installer was prompt, courteous and dressed neatly. When the work was all done, he cleaned up and left the place cleaner than when he came. I was very satisfied and will use them again in the future. Our courteous technicians respect your home and provide attention to detail that ensures quality work. Mr. Electric electricians always explain what they are going to do - before any work starts.

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO RISK GETTING ELECTROCUTED, then I highly suggest you STEER CLEAR OF THIS MICKEY MOUSE BUSINESS! My wife and I hired Mr. Electric to install the electrical connection for our hot tub. Big mistake, we should have considered other reviews and the below par rating with the BBB. Anyway, it took them about a month to come out. When they did, it took them all day and into the night because the electricians kept disappearing for hours and randomly coming back.

They "finished" at 10 pm. The next day my wife called Mr. Electric to see if the hot tub was good to go. The woman told her to turn on the circuit beaker and it was ready. My wife specifically asked her if we needed to wait for the City of Lacey to inspect the work. The woman said that there is no inspection required. Sadly, we later learned that an inspection was indeed required.

We also learned that Mr Electric did not obtain a permit for the work, which is required by law. Moving on, when we turned on the circuit breaker, it made a big bang and smoke came out of it! We turned it off and called Mr. Electric and left a message. Our call was not returned. We hired yet another electrician to come out and evaluate the situation.

The new electrician said that many of the wires in the circuit breaker were not connected and some wires were connected to the wrong prongs! Further, the hot tub wires that they connected were also installed incorrectly. As it turned out, when we turned on the circuit breaker, it fried our hot tub's control panel. More importantly, the electrician told us that we are lucky to be alive and we could have easily BEEN ELECTROCUTED!

My wife then called Mr. Electic again, and left a message letting them know what had happpened. AGAIN, no return phone call. This left us no choice but to file a small claims suit, which we WON. So folks, like I said, if you want to risk being electrocuted, want to have no return phone calls, and have to fork out even more money to hire a competent electrician to fix their dangerous and unskilled work, and then have to take time out of your busy day to go to small claims court, then this is the company for you! However, if you want safe and skilled work the first time, sadly, this is not the company for you. Stay safe!

Anthony with Mr. Electric was wonderful! From start to finish, the process was so easy! They were able to schedule a free estimate within the next few days and offered to do the work the day they came for the estimate. They price was very reasonable and they communicated the costs clearly. Anthony was friendly, helpful and asked questions when needed. Thank you!

I have experienced a no call no show. A cancelation the morning of. A tech that was surprised he needed a permit to pull a new circuit. The tech had to ask the heating guy how to wire it. Then they wired it for 120 volt even though the data plate and heating guy clearly said 220 volt. **Update, don't lie, you know I have the right company. I have recorded calls and photos I can put on your Facebook if you want

Made an appointment for 12. Sat and waited until 1. Called to get information on when a tech could be out and we explained this is a house I want to buy and we have the realtor there and we cant sit there all day. So they said they'd call and give a 30 minute heads up of when they're coming. And they never called. Do not use this company. They potentially cost me buying my dream home if I cannot get anyone else there to check things out.

Fernandous and Mike did a great job. On time and professional in all the work they did for me. I needed a rewire in my house they were efficient and always polite. Everything works perfect. They even went above and beyond by letting me watch and learn more about putting on outlets. I would highly recommend this company. Prices are reasonable and they care it's done right the first time. Matt did my quote, he also was professional and on time and really listened to my concerns about the work to be done. Again I highly recommend them!

Buying a fixer-upper can be fun but also frustrating and expensive. There is a lot to do when you first move in and you just keep prioritizing! Seems our garage outlets were not grounded, and my son wanted a sub-panel to be located in the detached garage. I called Mr. Electric of Olympia and spoke with Shane! She was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and set up a consultation with their estimator. Sean came out within a day or so and we walked him around and he was also friendly and very knowledgeable.

He pointed out that our meter was very outdated and no longer to code and the electrical box in the house was at its max. He wrote up the estimate to replace and fix all to code and I was again speaking with Shane to arrange a time for the team to come out. Tim and Mike arrived on time and immediately began to dig the trench and replace the meter and pole.

Later Tim went inside and worked on the breaker box in the house and then in the garage. It was quite the project and it took them a couple of days to get it all installed and corrected. Both Tim and Mike were thoughtful and respectful of our property and made sure to keep the gate closed for our dog Ranger. Then I was speaking with Shane again as she explained the next step which was to have it inspected by the State Inspector.

Each time I called Mr. Electric I either got Jane or Shane and these ladies are amazing at their jobs! The second inspector just left - one inspector for the house and a different inspector for the garage - and Shane has arranged for the team to come back out tomorrow and fill in the ditch! I would not hesitate to call Mr. Electric for any further electrical needs! They have an awesome team! Thanks Mr. Electric! Pauline S. Olympia, WA

WHY can't I rate these clowns any lower? Look, they have taken the phrase, "ignorance is bliss" and turned it into, "incompetence is bliss" which ironically, should be on their letterhead. You want to talk about rude and incompetent people. Here they are! Just competed their FOURTH trip out to complete a very SIMPLE work order, and they STILL didn't finish the job properly.

The kid stood on my doorstep arguably with me and actually called me a liar, because he didn't want to do what the INSPECTOR said needed done. The office staff we have followed up with seem to be equally incompetent and rude. If you want a better electrical job done, I recommend hiring a fifth grader and letting them watch a YouTube video. You'll get better results.

Steve and Chase did a quick, efficient and all around excellent job. They installed an outdoor outlet on our patio and installed a heavy light fixture/ceiling fan in our bedroom. Both jobs had some challenges which they overcame easily and professionally. The company made a quick appointment, Steve & Chase came on time, followed COVID protocols and got 'er done. We will use this company in the future for any electric needs we might have in the future.

This is a junk company - don't call them. We had a significant ($$) electrical project done by Mr E 2 years ago when they were under prior ownership. Sprayed across the old work order, and on their website, is "Lifetime Warranty". 2 years (not a lifetime) later, an outdoor outlet they installed breaks and needs to be fixed/replaced. We called and explained that we understood that there was a change of ownership, but that as new owners they assumed the warrantees of the company they bought.

When the electrician shows up he quotes us $450 (!) to replace the broken outlet. This is a $20 part and a 5 minute repair! We showed him the old project paperwork and the electrician called HQ, who told him/us that since the work was 2 years old, the stated lifetime warranty was not valid. No negotiation or acknowledgement that we were existing customers - $450. We said no thanks and called a handyman who will do it for $50. This sham of a company lost our business forever. Don't use them.

Not happy. Showed up without masks. When I asked them they said they would if I wanted them too, Then $200 to flip a breaker. I get a minimum charge but still for two minutes. Plus they don't warn you of minimum charge or heh remind you to check the breaker when you call to schedule. Won't use again.

I was hesitant to contact them because of the reviews on here over the past year, but I thought maybe those reviews were flukes, or growing pains since it seems like they're under new management. I should've trusted Yelp. I scheduled Mr. Electric to give me a free estimate for changing out some light fixtures, fixing 3 outlets in my kitchen that aren't working, and possibly changing a loose circuit breaker.

They were supposed to come out on Saturday between 11-1pm. Around 12:30 I got a phone call saying that there was a power outage emergency that they had to take care of, and rescheduled for this morning between 8-12. I totally understood that that takes precedent and agreed to reschedule. Fast forward to this morning. I called at 9am to confirm. I was told they would double check with dispatch to try to get a closer estimate of the time.

No one ever called me. I sat at home, forgoing the errands I needed to get done today (since everything will be chaotic and/or closed the next two days) and declining the other two companies who were supposed to come give me an estimate during that same time frame, waiting for Mr. Electric. At 12:20, after my official arrival window had passed, I called back.

The guy on the phone said "oh, no one called you?" I said "No." He said, "Oh, okay. I'll have someone call you right away." It's been a half hour and I haven't heard a word. I get that it's 2 days before Christmas and that Hanukkah is underway. I completely understand that emergencies come up. But, communication is key. I've now spent 6+ hours waiting for these guys and wasting my time that I should have spent doing the things I need to do pre-holiday chaos or that I could have spent having other people come out and give me estimates/actually do the work. Update: As I was writing this, they finally called.

He said he shouldn't have scheduled an estimate for today because he should've realized there would be a backlog of weekend emergencies and to reschedule for after Christmas. He also said that any diagnostic work (the circuit breaker and the outlet) wouldn't be a free estimate, so that there would be a charge for that if they look at it.

He did say for me to call back if I find out the underlying issue from somewhere else (it may be a bad installation from an appliance, so the appliance repair people are coming later this week) and need electrical work done, so.\_()_/

Poor communication and planning called to request a quote took time off work to wait at home for tech to show up between 12-2 he never showed. I had to call them to get any kind of info at all all about where the tech was. The tech didn't call me until almost 530 to ask me if I expected him to show up to quote the work. I politely told him no and that I would be taking my business elsewhere.

What is it going to take to get a response on receiving the 5% yelp discount promised? Several phone calls, notes from central reservations, and an email is apparently is not enough. I would be more than happy to change my review when/if any attention is given to concern.

Mr Electric out of Olympia came out to our house to provide diagnostic services as the power bill was extremely high. They stated they could come out and give their professional opinion/diagnostic. Dan from Mr Electric showed up with no tools nor a flashlight. He used a dime to open the breaker box and used his phone to light it up. He didn't have a meter or any other tool you would expect a electrician to have. Figured 50 bucks worst case (since they said it would be at no cost) for a diagnostic as they were only at the house a few minutes.

They found nothing and after a few minutes they put the panel back on and demanded 229 dollars for their less than 30 minutes. I have called repeatedly to get some resolve as they charged way too much. They wrote that they found nothing and to call Tacoma Power. They wont return calls, even the owner which I asked to be called by will not return a call. I told them to make it right or I will have no choice but to share my terrible experience online so others do not get taken advantage of. Shane from Roy

At a year later and two certified letters giving them the chance to refund or correct the problem, I have met with a lawyer and will be taking them to superior court. Documents to be filed very soon. I still don't have a properly functioning fuse panel, L&I still hasn't passed their inspection (twice) I've had lost wages, no power in half my house for a weekend, moved ALL of my furniture twice AND they've been out FIVE times. I've filled with BBB and AG, they didn't respond to those complaints (available on their sites) and they won't respond to me. Don't take a chance, your home and family is worth way more than their business ethics.

Late Sunday night we found out from our realtor that our buyer had set up a home inspection for that Wednesday. We were in need of a election quick so I called Mr. Electric! In today's construction world you all know it can sometimes take up to 2 weeks for someone to get out to you, but this wasn't the case! I explained my time constraint and Chad with Mr.

Electric made sure to have someone out first thing Tuesday morning. They completed our project in no time and cleaned up beautifully! Thank you Chad and the Mr. Electric team!

I had the guys come to some work at our office a few months ago and the guy who did the work said that for the amount of work we needed, he recommended we make a service call for hours of work and they do as much work as they could in that time period. Based on his recommendation, I scheduled a 4-hr window to replace outlets at our business. Mikey and Tillmon arrived an hour early (we were not ready!) and were very efficient and fast.

In fact, they were done with all the faulty outlets in an hour! I was very happy, but also concerned that I had scheduled a 4-hr window and was concerned that I would end up paying for 4 hours of work when they weren't there that long. I called the company and talked to Jane and she indicated the service call was written in such a way that they could just charge me for the 1 hour of work and not 4 hours.

I was very relieved. My bill was still super expensive, $185 for the hour, plus the truck fee, the outlets ($15 each - highway robbery there) and tax, but it was half what I expected to pay so I was very pleased that the company worked with us.

One star is way too much for this scammer. STAY AWAY from Mr. Goldman! I called Home Advisor and Joe was the first one to respond. Seeing that I needed some punch list work for the closing of the house I was selling, I needed it done fast. When the technician showed up, I showed him the punch list. (It was 4 simple outlet changes and GFCI change that I provided by running to Home Depot while the work was being done to save money (I was told I would be charged $90/hr) so I was on the clock so to speak.

The technician proceeded to do the work WITHOUT providing a written estimate. If they had given a written estimate of $81.46 per outlet before doing the work, I would have laughed at him and told him to get out of my house! However, I trusted Mr. Electric that he would charge me a fair price for a little over 2 hours worth of work. After the work was done, Joe Goldman, the owner I presume asked for my credit card over the phone (again, BEFORE I had seen ANYTHING in writing).

He went over the work that was done and told me I would receive the invoice in my email. Days went by without the promised invoice. I happened to look at my credit card account for something unrelated and to my surprise (and shock and horror), I see a Mr. Electric charge of $1056 for 2 1/2 hours of work. When I called to complain, Mr. Goldman promised to refund me ($350).

He apologized profusely and called 2 or 3 more times and emailed the corrected invoice again promising that the credit card refund would be there shortly. Well, it's been a week, guess what? No refund! I have since reported him to HomeAdvisor, BBB, Mr. Electric the Franchiser, yelp, etc. I know Mr. Goldman will respond to this complaint/review with, "This was just a misunderstanding" However, I (and you should) know better. Mr. Goldman and Mr.

Electric of the NorthShore is a crook, immoral and unethical. PLEASE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND AND NOT THINK TWICE! He and his business really took advantage of me during a very stressful time (in the midst of selling my home and moving across the country)

Worked for about 16 minutes, charged $200. Also, whe. You call to request service and they quote you a price, they don't tell you about the "truck charge" which is the charge to drive to wherever you happen to live. Apparently the only way to avoid this is to bring your house to their property and have them work on it? Deceitful IMHO.

I was having a electrical short in my living room. I called Mr electric and was ready to spend big money to repair my issue. They sent Jeffrey over he explained the complete process from start to finish. I felt him to be honest and intelligent. I was ready to be hit over the head with a huge bill. I paid less than I expected and everything works. I gotta say I would definitely get them to do more work when I'm ready.

I have used Mr Electric of the North Shore twice now. Once indoors and once outside. Both times they came through without a hitch. From phone call to completion in 2 days. In my very old house, I had him check a light switch that had a faint hum. He said it was lucky I had asked for this extra ((he was there to install a fixture on a different floor of my house).

The wires were frayed and a total fire hazard. He checked the other switch in the bathroom and prevented a fire there, too. He replaced them in a few minutes. Not often your electrician may have saved your life or home! Joe, the owner, gives amazing customer service, a real treat when dealing with service people. Can't wait for the warm weather. I'll definitely call again to put in lights on my deck and a ceiling fan on my screen porch. I like the lifetime warranty and that they do rechecks of their work, too.

Very prompt and professional work done. Geoffrey arrived on time and kept me informed about how long the work would take. I also like that the repair and upgrade that was done is guaranteed for life, should any problem were to occur. Joe, the owner is very personable. I highly recommend this company. Sandy Chicago

I recently moved and wanted an electrical contractor locally for what should not have been a big problem. I called a few people whose names I was given and each company made the problem too complicated and hard for this customer. Joe at Mr. Electric knew his stuff, and made the process straightforward and the price great. This guy got it that I did not want to deal with it and was looking for his thought leadership and delivery. Done! I also want to say Joe knows old-fashioned, excellent customer service, turning me into a forever customer.

Mr. Electric installed 3 outdoor lights and a bathroom light for us. The outdoor lights started flickering almost immediately. They came out promptly and spent an hour trouble shooting the problem. I felt the light fixtures were defective. They suggested replacing the switch and the lights stopped flickering. They did a great job and they there support and customer service are great. We will definitely use them again.

The technicians were prompt and did a good job. It took them 1/2 hour to diagnose and make the required repair. I obtained a $20 coupon from, Heath, the owner's Mr. Electric website to use toward payment of the invoice. The invoiced amount before tax was $195; $212.63 with tax. I gave the technician a check for $212.63 but forgot to give him the $20 off coupon.

The technician did not leave me my copy of the invoice when he left my home at about 2:30pm. At about 3:00PM the same day, I personally delivered the $20 off coupon to the Lacey Mr. Electric office. The next day, 9/28/17, I called the Lacey office and asked what the status of my $20 off coupon was. Heath got on the phone and said it would not be honored because I did not present it at the time of service. However, within a reasonable time (1/2 hour) after the service was performed, Heath had the coupon.

The hardcopy coupon did not specify it must be presented at time of service, only that the offer ended October 6, 2017. A reasonable, customer oriented business owner would have honored the $20 off coupon given the facts. Not only did Heath fail to honor the $20 off coupon, he refused to give me my copy of the invoice. Very arrogant, unprofessional owner actions.

To summarize, my recommendation not to use Heath's Mr. Electric Lacey location, the facts are as follows: 1. The $195 is a very high price for a service call. I polled several electricians in Lacey describing the service performed. The average pretax charge was about $125; Heath was $70 more expensive! 2. Heath refused to honor the $20 off coupon that was delivered to his place of business in a reasonable time frame. 3. Heath refused to provide me with my copy of the invoice documenting the price for the work done.

I live in a large retirement community. I will make sure I inform as many residents as I can not to use Heath's Mr. Electric. Other Mr. Electric locations may be ok, but not the Lacey location. The Mr. Electric website advertises they are Angie's List Super Service Award winners since 2013. The Lacey location of Mr. Electric is not on Angie's List; other locations are. There clearly is a reason for that, as I described above

We had them come out and install 2 ceiling fans in the house. One of the rooms needed the wiring installed in the ceiling, which the electrician took care of. The work was well done. I am upset about something else though. We told the electrician that we were very unhappy with the existing cam lights in our ceiling throughout the house. He recommended that we replace them with Feit Electric LED dimmable lights that came with the retrofit kit.

Mr Electric charges $60 per light including the install (all he had to do was take the old light out and plug the new one into the ceiling - took all of 5 minutes per light). We were going to have him come back out and change out all of the lights in the house, but, luckily, I took a picture of the box and looked up the price on line. Home Depot offers them for $60 for a six-pack! That's $10 per light. Thank God we had Mr. RipOff (Mr Electric) only install two of them (for $120! plus tax). We were gullible and they are rip off artists. Never again!
