Founded in 1932 as Mazza Bros., the company specialized in sheet metal fabrication as well as heating and ventilation systems. In 1965, the company was officially incorporated as Mazza Sheet Metal with Joseph DeRose serving as managing partner. By 1974, Joe was the sole owner of the business. Truly a family-owned and operated business, Joe's four sons spent many years working in the field and office, getting their hands dirty and learning the trade.After Joe's death in 1994, his two older sons, Dan and Ledgie DeRose, took over the management of Mazza as president and vice president, respectively.

Dan sees leading the Mazza team as more than just his job - it's his life's passion. As President, he drives the core values of this decades-old family business - integrity, customer service, employee development and safety. Growing up in the business, he possesses a deep respect for Mazza's customers and employees, as well as the industry.
