No Power! Oh No! Called Darlene at 10:00 am told her my main Obsolete breaker had failed big time. Do to great timing, Darlene informed me Randy was going right through Weaverville NC area and showed up 15 minutes later. Randy was fabulous, he went above and beyond to get my power on, and 4 hrs later Randy updated my 37 year old breaker box at a fair price. Highly recommend Thanks, you saved me. Mike

I have had Haynes come out twice now. Not only were both technicians extremely friendly and pleasant to be around but also experts that knew exactly what they were doing. Having recently had another company come out and give us an estimate, Haynes estimate was substantially more affordable in the quality of work was top notch. A special shout out to Sergey who was a pro and explained so much to me today. He knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix the issue effectively and efficiently.

We wanted to use a local company, but honestly we've had much better experiences with RotoRooter. We'll never use this company again.

Twice now I have booked actual appointments with Haynes, have waited at my home all day and they never even called me. I am DONE with Haynes. They are AWFUL. I called them to ask if they were going to let me know their status, and the woman who answered sounded like she had woken up from a nap. Do not use Haynes!

I called at 10:30 AM for an electrical issue. At 12 Noon, my work was completed to my satisfaction. I appreciate the prompt response. Prior to calling MB Haynes, I called 2 local establishments that did not return my call. I will definitely call this group first in the future.

Tec came out on time and professional, to service my new home's furnace. That was Dec 8th. Have spoken to Accounting 3 times, head of Service Dept once, sent email. Told bill was in process and would be emailed to my confirmed address multiple times. Today is Jan 26th Will probably not do business with company again. Hours of my time invested, just trying to get a service bill that no one can even tell me amt. At this point I consider service call Free.

We have done lots of work with these guys, a bunch a great people to work with and for.

We were in need of some electrical work this month and Garrett Twiss and Austin Bowens came precisely on time, masked. They were very friendly, professional and we actually had kind of a fun time with them while they were here. We had some crazy wiring issues in our older home that they were able to provide creative and safe solutions for. We were so impressed with their service and professionalism, and will definitely be using MB Haynes for anything we need done in the house moving forward!

Had the plumbers come out to replace a shower drain. They said they broke a part and did not carry it on the van. They left and came back over one hour later. I got charged $ 410.00 total. 3 hours labor at $115.00 per hour. They did stop water from going under the house. They left the drain raised in the center, now I have standing water in the shower.

They did not clean anything and left a mess in the shower. My crawl door is removable, and I asked them to keep it closed so my cat and dog could not get in there. After they left I found they did not put the crawl door back, and my dog went under there and came out with muddy feet.

We DIY'd a new thermostat installation that didn't work. Called around town and MB Haynes was the only place that could fix it the same day we called. Folks that answered the phone were friendly, and the serviceman that came out was professional, courteous, and fast. We were up and running in no time. Price was affordable and consistent with such work. Would use again, and highly recommend.

We've lived in Asheville a bit over 4 years and we are so grateful for your excellent technician, Sergei. He was in our home today for our annual HVAC inspection and also identified (and fixed!) a major issues with one of the compressors. He is very knowledgeable and we also appreciated his efforts to abide by the Covid guidelines!

Apparently, we were already $200 in the hole by the time they arrived. Arrived at 10:15 and left at 1:15 but charged 5 hrs for labor. I can understand picking up the water heater and coming from Asheville. I could of been half way to the beach in 2 hrs.

Beyond good. After a logistical disaster with another HVAC company, I rang-up Haynes. From the first call to a follow-up visit )to put a better looking backplate behind a thermostat) Haynes did everything: * Quickly * Correctly * In a profession and friendly manner This job was a replacement of an outside (package) heat pump and AC unit. Not the biggest job, but not trivial either. Haynes advised me well on my options, provided a fair bid, got the work done right after the unit arrived, and got it right the first time. Special nod to Mike Blalock who handled the sales and service in a spectacular way.

Haynes Heating & Cooling was so good about taking care of our needs starting with Vicky, who did the scheduling. They tried to order parts for our 20 year old heat pump that died, but the parts were obsolete. Ryan and Adam were very respectful of our budget and worked with us to get a new one installed fast. Kudos to this fantastic company! We would highly recommend them!

I have been a customer for 12 years, purchasing the annual service maintenance package every year. My old HVAC went out and they were quick in coming out and diagnosing the issue. That's where the good service ended. It was decided that I needed a new system but every step was delayed with a lack responsiveness or caring. It took 5 day to get them to order the new unit.

Each step took numerous calls from me to get them to act. It took 13 days in January when it was as low as 9 for them to install the new system. I'm a senior. The final blow was they postponed installation by a day because it snowed for 20 minutes earlier that morning. The midday and afternoon was a sunny 43. They reported it took a day to install it.

The next day it was installed in 3 1/2 hours. And they implied that I was not smart enough to figure out the new thermostat. I have a doctorate. Avoid this company at all costs. As a PS the unit failed town inspection! Livid!

We have used the MB Haynes after hours service and was very happy with them. They rescued us after our A/C quit on one of he hottest days of the year. Travis has been really wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!

I've dealt mostly with Travis Hyatt over the past 3 years, and the experience has been top notch. Not only have they fixed our heat at our residential house, but he has helped many, many of my business clients very quickly, with thorough communication and excellent follow through. They are also extremely involved in local charities, non profits, and take great care of our community, which is why for all heating, cooling, plumbing, I always call MB Haynes. Cheers to one of the longest running local businesses in Asheville!

I had an awesome experience with Haynes Electric. They came out to my home and fixed a few wiring issues and also installed a GFI outlet in our kitchen. The technician, Tom Austin, was awesome and I highly recommend him. He was courteous, honest, explained everything thoroughly, and did a fantastic job.

Got two estimates on repairing a water main leak today. First company took about an hour to estimate the job. MB Haynes fixed the leak in about that that time. Cheers to Randall and Brandon at Haynes Plumbing. Highly recommended.

I called MB Haynes to get an estimate on having my HVAC system completely reconfigured and replaced. Their estimator showed up promptly and told me I'd have an estimate in a day or two. I'm estimating that the job will cost between $7500 and $10,000 but I really don't know because it's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard a word from the company. I've sent the representative several emails and made phone calls but ***Nothing***** Now, I recognize that it is the peak season for HVAC work, and my present system IS functioning, so I'm not in a huge rush but seriously?

If you want a responsive and responsible company and you're NOT a commercial company, don't call MB Haynes; they're not interested enough to even return a call.
