Just Remodel

I am a little late writing this review. Reading others reviews of Don and Just Remodel sums up everything I would have written. Professional. Personable. Honest. Helpful. We had a minor problem once the job was completed which did not present for a few months after completion. He came out right away, and it was fixed within 2-3 days. I will never use any other company for my remodeling needs.

Don Hughes is our standard of what we would like to see when hiring a contractor. We hired him to remodel our kitchen, 2 bathrooms, replace the floor and fireplace. He is professional, personal, and completed the project on-time. We gave him ideas of what we wanted and what was a priority and he really focused on those items. For example we provided a sample of a floor tile we wanted.

When we picked the cabinets later he saw a clash between the two and provided some alternatives and the one he suggested was better than we could have imagined. He spotted details we had not because he enjoys what he does and it shows in his work. I would highly recommend this company.

Working with Don Hughes (owner) & Mike (did all the work) was a great experience. Don was so easy to work with offering great advise regarding tile for both the hall bathroom and kitchen as well as paint colors. Mike was just amazing doing all the work: tile around the bath, removing the large mirrors in both bathrooms and installing mirrors we chose, replacing cabinets in both bathrooms, removing existing medicine cabinets and closing up the walls, painting and backsplash tile in the kitchen. This was a great experience working with both Don & Mike. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Don Hughes where do I begin? First of all a perfect gentleman and consummate professional and perfectionist. The job is not done until it's done right! Just Remodel remodeled 3 bathrooms for me and I cannot imagine being more thrilled at the results. As it that wasn't enough, I was allowed to collaborate with the most efficient and personable group of contractors I've yet encountered. Just remodel was at the Home Show and I gave him my number for a free in home estimate. He came out in 2 weeks and took measurements and said he would send me an estimate in about 2 weeks. After a month had gone by, I hadn't heard from Don Houghs. (The owner) I left him a few voicemails and heard nothing. 2 months later I received a text message saying he had withdrawn from the bidding process.

When I asked why, he said he was too busy to take on my job. After 2 months? Didn't even have the courtesy to call me and speak with me. Just a text. I wouldn't use this company ever again. Very unprofessional.

Over the past 20 years, I lived through 5 major home renovation projects in my previous home. After interviewing multiple contractors for an extensive master bath reconfiguration in my new home, I knew that "Just Remodel" was the real deal. They had competitive pricing and were clearly knowledgeable about the work needing to be done. I specifically asked who would be on the job.

I learned that Don, the owner, would be working and supervising. That sealed the deal! Throughout the process, I was impressed that Don was readily available to problem solve the surprises that always come with renovation. The work of "Just Remodel" has stood the test of time, and, five years later, I remain delighted with my beautiful bath. I was so pleased with the results that I subsequently chose the company to remodel my kitchen and, later, for a guest bath face lift. I highly recommend Don Hughes and "Just Remodel."

Just Remodel remodeled our bathroom about a dozen years ago. We still enjoy it and get complements from anyone that sees it. The company was a pleasure to deal with (had them do more work for us the following year).

I couldn't disagree more with Anthony. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone and everyone. They have done about ten different jobs for me over the years, at two different homes, and I was always impressed with the results. These guys are Pros!

They did work on our bathroom 5 years ago finding out recently. That they cut so many corners on the work they did. Would highly recommend not using them.

Don and Dan did a total remodel of our master bath and closet plus a new kitchen island and beverage center that replaced a desk. Both projects turned out beyond our wildest dreams. Don has great design ideas and helped us pick out everything. They truly went out of their way to make sure we were completely happy with everything. People told us we'd hate having contractors in our house every day but we actually missed these two once the job was done. They even made friends with our little dogs. You can't go wrong choosing Just Remodel.

I recently had two bathrooms remodeled by Just Remodel, they did a truly remarkable job. They were always on time, clean and courteous, and the bathrooms are beautiful. They did a complete remodel in one bathroom, and a new countertop and sinks in the other. The job was done quickly and efficiently. Small problems that come up during construction project like this were quickly and efficiently handled by Don and his guys. I would recommend them to anybody who asks.

Don and his guys did work for us a few years ago. I had a really hard find finding a competent contractor in glendale and after interviewing 5 different companies I knew Just Remodel would do the best job. We had our guest bath room shower surround and a new cast iron tub installed and love the new look. My only complaint is that I've tried to do more work with them and I never can get a return phone call? Maybe they didn't like us but we loved their work! =o
