I would like to sing the praises of J.E. Redington Co., a local plumbing company that has been in business for over 100 years. One week ago, on a Sat., my gas hot water heater of 18 years "died." I first called a plumber I had used in the past and when his bid came in at over $3,000 for a basic 40-gal gas hot water heater, I called friends in the Commercial Construction business (VSP Construction & AJ Plumbing) for advice.

It was then I was referred to J.E. Redington-I first researched this company on-line and the Better Business Bureau and found nothing but glowing reviews. After speaking to Tammie in their front office & their estimator, Rick Jr., I hired them; the installation was done on 2/11/22. J.E. Redington Co should not only get 5 stars, plus many more, but should also get awards for going the extra mile, excellent customer service, patience, kindness, and superior workmanship.

No hidden costs, few, if any problems, just a job well-done. The Journeyman, Bill, was terrific and efficient and his apprentice, Brandon, was just the best. From Tammie in the front office, to Rick Jr., to everyone I've met at JE Redington, I now know why they call themselves "Your Home Town Plumber." Thank you J.E. Redington Co for being one of the few, most honest, most reliable companies out there today!

I needed a plumber to come to my animal hospital on an emergency basis but couldn't find anyone available. Despite being busy, Redington sent a plumber by right way to look at the situation. (I guess they could hear my anxiety, lol). The problem turned out NOT to be as big of an emergency as I thought. While they couldn't repair the problem that moment understandably, they did come back later the same day to follow up. Both of the men I interacted with were very professional and courteous. I HIGHLY recommend!

Came right over in brutally cold weather. Had frozen pipes which they inspected and recommended what to do. Didn't try to sell us anything else. Pleasure to work with.

This company has had a back log since I started working 20 years ago next door to them. They have been around for quite sometime, "You definitely get what you pay for". Quality Job that is professionally done.

They have always done great work for us. We have an old house -- things wear out and break down -- and the Redington crew have always taken good care of our problems. Quality work, on time, on budget -- exactly as it should be.

I reached out to them for an estimate on some work and got absolutely no response. Maybe they're so busy they don't need any work, but ignoring people who contact you just isn't good business. Update: Thank you to the owner of this business for reaching out: I sent a request through your website on a weekday evening. It was 2 weeks after that I posted this review, which I just happened to do on a Sunday.

I was purchasing my first house, and during the inspection process they found sub-standard plumbing repairs. I was referred to JE Redington Co by a friend and could not of been happier. They showed up on time and fixed the illegal work the right way. They even gave a quick inspection of the houses plumbing and told me problems to look out for in the future. Great value, and really put this first time home buyer at ease.

Great service and in a timely fashion. My water heater went out a few days before Christmas and they were able to get one installed around my schedule as I was leaving town for the holidays. Also, they noticed a few other issues with pipes once they were in my basement and fixed those without upping the quoted price. Happy customer here!
