ISC is a St. Louis-based general contracting firm specializing in commercial construction. The firm was founded in 1982 by the father-son team of George and Dan Green. Long-time employee Scott Seymour, who joined the company in 1988 as project superintendent, joined the ownership team in 1993 upon George Green's retirement.
ISC specializes in the turnkey construction of corporate interiors, tenant finishes, retail and other corporate and institutional construction projects. By teaming with the architect while a project is still in its planning stages, we can provide early cost estimates, enabling you to make optimum use of your construction budget.
Fleishman-Hillard is known internationally for the excellent results its public affairs and marketing communications services deliver. ISC entered its assignment to renovate three floors in the firm's corporate headquarters with the same high expectations for its results. Because the floors remained occupied during the renovation, ISC phased construction to minimize disruption.
For its new board room, Peabody Coal wanted an environment that embodied the global nature of its operations, while also being highly supportive of the business that would be conducted there. ISC delivered both. The new board room includes an etched glass wall featuring a world map and a custom board table made from three exotic hardwoods: quartered etimoe wood in the center, quartered sapele on the border and mahogany hardwood on the edges.
