Hilltop Lumber is a family-owned business that started in Glenwood in 1988 with five employees, three trucks and one forklift. Since that time Hilltop Lumber has expanded to include over 70 employees and three locations: Alexandria, Glenwood, and Ottertail. The company also operates Hilltop Rental Center located in the Alexandria store.

Had a great experience here! Shout out to Devon in the outside lumber area, he was extremely knowledgeable and got me exactly what I needed. My lumber was cut to my exact measurements and was even loaded into my car for me. I had two previous trips to Home Depot where my items were the wrong item/size, whereas Hilltop got it right on the first trip. The store is clean, the prices are decent, and the customer service was wonderful! I will definitely return for future projects.
