Our shower leaked from the first day they installed the glass shower enclosure. They had told us what they felt we should build for a shower that had body spray jets and said that with their enclosure it would be sealed and waterproof, like a fish bowl. We repeatedly asked if a seamless shower enclosure would be leak-free, as we had previously had an enclosure that had metal seams.

That original seamed enclosure worked perfectly and was 100% waterproof. They told us that the seamless enclosure would definitely work as we wanted it to, but that was not the case, as it leaked immediately after installation, and it was a torrential leak. They came back 2 times to try and fix it and could not do so, and didn't even offer a solution to the problem.

They then told us that a seamless enclosure was a big problem given the amount of water coming from the shower head and the body sprays. We reminded them that this was our original worry and that they had told us that it would not be a problem. We called Howie over and over again but he would never call back and someone else at the company said "well sometimes they just leak." Because of their installation, we had extensive water damage to our ceiling on the floor below.

We eventually had to call in another glass company and when they looked at the shower enclosure installation they said it was terrible work and they tried to fix all the problems for us. It seems our only option is to pay to have someone else tear everything out and re do it. Hillcrest would not back their product and ignored calls. Do not hire them! Terrible customer service, terrible advice on what to install and terrible work.

If you are looking for service, look elsewhere. I called with a question about moving a large glass mirror and inquired what they would charge for the service. The response I received was "I'm booked through November and I don't have time for that". No referral to another company, nothing. just a click and a dial tone. I wish I could give you zero stars.

I had a very positive experience with Hillcrest glass. They did the job quickly and the price was extremely reasonable. I would definitely return if I needed glass again.

Shower door has leaked since installation. Firm will not return our calls for service. Extremely disappointing; we went with a local company thinking we'd have better service.

I have used Hillcrest glass on several occasions and have always been happy! After reading the negative review I decided to call around to get different prices. I needed a piece of glass for on top of my coffee table. I called 3 places and Hillcrest was by far the least expensive. They were courteous and professional. I called at 9Am and My glass was ready at 3 pm the same day. I picked it up and it fit perfectly. Rounded covers and smooth edges. I would HIGHLY recommend them!

I went there to get a simple rectangular replacement mirror for a vanity. The employee looked like I was bothering him from doing something important (just sitting there) even though not a car or customer in the shop. Sarcasm in responses. Don't let their website fool you. They didn't even have my std mirror thickness in stock. Quoted me $50, no thanks. Go to Commonwealth Glass and Mirror in Watertown - great friendly service over the phone quoted it $15-. How can it be over 200% different? Can you say Rip Off?
