Not a good place to rent from, way over priced, gave us equipment that didn't work vary good, ended up trading for a smaller piece of equipment but paid for the large one, not a fair place at all and was told by the manager " what the f___ you want me to do about it ", that's simple. make it right! DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!

This is ridiculous. The employees are always in a bad mood. Another issue is that they don't open Saturdays and Sundays and charge for those days. Overpricing.

They no longer do four hour rentals on the handheld concrete saw so it is now $95 for a 24 hour rental. When I rented it they said they would give me credit if I brought it back early so I brought it back an hour and a half later only to find out that there was no credit they were still going to charge me the $95. Their explanation was there is a long turnaround time for them to get the saw back on the shelf.

My God I brought it back clean what do you have to do, fill it with gas, most of the time the water system on the saw is clogged so they're not checking anything. Home Depot rents the same saw for four hours for $56 do not use Howe rents try Home Depot first better service better equipment and no lies

I recently rented out a standing dingo, and paid for an 8 hour use. I did return it two hours late, but the meter still showed, I used it for less than 8 hours. They tried to charge me an additional $180 and they said it was due to low fuel when the machine arrived back, which I was willing to pay, but not the ridiculous bill for $180 when that's almost how much I paid to rent the machine.

They then told me they will close out my account because I refused to pay the $180. And the have the worst customer care, the manager was so unprofessional and kept yelling and talking over my husband on the phone, when my husband was being very calm and polite. I wouldn't recommend at all. It's my first time renting from them and my last. Diamond rental or sunbelt rentals never give me a hard time like they did.

As far as construction rental equipment this place serves it's customers well at fair prices. Over the last 20 years I have used six other rental equipment agencies and Howe's definitely ranks on the higher end of the service spectrum.

I needed a generator for my home office while power was shut off to my house for electrical repairs. The online reservation showed a quiet Honda EU2000i with no disclaimer that I'd end up with an off-brand unit closer in volume to a 2-stroke dirt bike. On pickup and drop off I was approached by unmasked employees despite the COVID pandemic and statewide mask mandate.

I had to yell at them to not come near me. It must be nice to think the virus is a hoax but I have a family member with a health condition and several friends and relatives who've been hospitalized. I won't rent here again but I will be buying a generator from a business that cares more about their customers' health.

I rented out a standing dingo and did not exceed the 8 hour time limit. But I did return it 2 hours late and they tried to charge me an extra $180.00 even tho I didn't exceed the 8 hour limit. They said fuel was low as well, which I was willing to pay for but not the extra $180.00. Smh. The worst customer service too. The guy kept yelling over my husband and my husband was being so peaceful talking to him.

I was the mad one on the other side of the phone (his wife, who works with him). Thy closed out my account because I refused to be charged the $180 and they said they couldn't get a hold of us but it was because we were busy at the time and called them right back when we received their voicemail. I would never recommend them. Diamond rental is much better and they never have gave me a hard time like Howe rental did. Smh

Had a very complex job that requires quite a bit of equipment rental from them. They were very accommodating and easy to work with. Their check in and out were quick and prices were very fair. The equipment was kept in good running condition. We will definitely be back for more.

I recently rented a piece of equipment from Howe Rental. I used their online reservation service to reserve the tool that I wanted to rent. On that site I was quoted $150/ day. I sent one of my employees to pick up the tool and use it for a two day period. Upon returning the tool, we were informed that since it was "peak season" for that particular tool, the actual cost would be double. Even though I was quoted, in writing, a lower price, they would not honor that price. I have been renting from this location for many years but I will no longer return.

Good selection of rental tools available. Beware of the fake insurance on machinery - I had a flat tire on a skid steer and hydraulic lines damaged, and it added about $1000 (about double) to the total bill with no coverage (in fairness, tires are expressly exempted, hydraulics are not). Somehow they still felt fine about charging the insurance. The guy said almost every rental the customer breaks the hydraulic lines - seems like they should warn people, or show them how to keep them protected (probably zip ties). Anyway, they are fine and everything, nothing remarkable, but you'll probably pay more than you expected.
