Poor quality windows for top dollar price. The installer did a poor job. I paid for metal to go around the exterior of my window. They did not make it level, so all of the water during rain or snow pooled up around the caulking. Had to have them come back and fix it. Oh but they have a $90 trip fee. Thankfully they waived this $90 trip fee for a job that really should've been done right the first time.

So a year later, I go to open the back window, a window I never open and the window latch is completely loose. Upon install I guess the guys stripped the screws. The latch is barely hanging onto the window. I should've never replaced my other windows with their subpar product. K and H home solution is not a solution, they are a waste of money.

The salesperson for whom I will identify only as DH (he knows who he is), immediately started pitching me on why I should choose them over their competitors, and gave a tipical canned sales pitch for windows with no understanding or perception of my problem and need. This approach made clear his intention of making the sale, and getting what he wanted, and not what I needed.

In short - he was pretty self-oriented, and talked so much he forgot to listen. He seemed to lack genuine empathy in understanding what I needed and wanted. He seemed to have a sense of entitlement for being expert for all the years he has been selling windows. He made grandiose statements like, "We've been installing windows for over 60 years, but no installer has been with the company for 60 years." Note: K&H Home Solutions uses sub-contractors - not employees of the company. DH avoided discussing the caveats in life-time warranties - what's not covered!

He consistently and repeatedly focused on the window features, and his extensive experience in selling windows. He came across as a hard closer rather than a facilitator helping me solve a problem. He was deficient in his ability to explain the window features in terms of benefits to me long term. In short, he personified the slimy and manipulative stigma of some car salesman. DH misled me with regard to 'no-down' payment in signing the contract for the windows.

Then came back and wanted an upfront downpayment. From the beginning, we had communication issues for which he blamed me for not understanding. He screwed up the contract by adding triple-pane windows instead of double pane windows, and then wanted me to sign a change order to cover his screwup. Caveat - Beware if you deal with a salesperson with DH initials. INSTALLER - Sergio did a good job installing windows in a house that was built in the 1900s, and presented him with some unique challenges.

Clean up was decent, but we had to go back in with a vacuum with a hippa filter and vacuumed up a considerable amount of wood dust from the carpet beneath the windows. I would strongly recommend Sergio as your installer if you decide to have windows installed by K&H Home Solutions. The lag time between ordering windows and installation was a couple of months. Be prepared for a VERY LONG wait if you are planning on installing new windows that are not manufactured in Colorado. Signed: Dr. Gerald Calvin 4/16/22

We had our Gables on the roof, eves, facade and gutters done by K&H. Although the finished product looks nice, buyer beware. First off, there was no Quality assurance inspection done by the company before they did a final walk with me and I caught them by surprise (because I had to use my own ladder) that I wanted to get on the roof to look at it with them because I could clearly see parts of metal that were not sitting properly from the ground.

It was fixed the next day but only because I brought it to their attention. They still wanted me to pay but they realized they did not have the invoice with them. The next day when he came back to walk with me again (he was prepared with his own ladder this time) but wanted me to fill out my customer satisfaction survey and pay the final bill, which I did, but 2 days later I received an additional charge of $700.00 stating that they had to use additional wood for the project.

This was never brought up by the fellow that walked with me twice (I might add that he was in fact the person overseeing the project, so he was perfectly aware of the situation), I find it very off that they wait until after the fact that any of this was brought up leaving me to argue all of this over the phone. I also had to install my own porch light when it was all done because they did not do it and I wanted light on my front door at night.

They also did not reinstall my electrical outlets until I made a big issue out of it with Scott on the phone. Again, the finished product eventually ended up nice but the footwork I had to put in to get it that way seems extensive. I ended up having to pay the $700 because I signed a contract that says they can uncover things as they go that may need to be fixed. that $700 was for 4 pieces of wood which I happen to know they did not use all of because I saw the very large scraps in my driveway.

Be aware of what you sign when signing up for the install, be alert of what is going on, don't be afraid to ask questions. I will not do business with this company again unless they attempt to make things right and I will share my opinion to all.

K&H installed my windows in 2003 and did a great job. And they just replaced a window that got a leak in 2021 so they stand by their warranty. They also repaired two screens. They have been around 40 years so they are a great contractor selection!

We had K&H replace the steel double doors on our house with a fiberglass ProVia double doors. The whole process was great from start to finish. The person that came over to do the initial assessment was friendly and helpful in explaining everything. We had already talked with a few other places so we had an idea of what we wanted. After ordering the door, we received texts or emails throughout the whole process of what stage the door was at, being built, being shipped, ready for install.

On install day, the installers even called to let me know they may be a couple minutes outside their original install window because of traffic. The new door looks amazing and the installers did a great job buttoning everything up. I will go back to K&H for any of my door or window needs.

Promises not kept, repeatedly. If you want something on time, DONT use K/H you will receive your items months and months after they are promised by your sales rep. I'm so disappointed I used them for anything. Literally, you will wait MONTHs after the goods are promised. There will be excuse after excuse.

We initially found K&H because they install custom doors which our old 1905 Denver home needed and the big box home improvement stores wouldn't do. But what started with one front door has turned into new windows, a sliding back door, complete exterior siding, and new gutter installation and across the board we are very happy with all the work. We keep going back to K&H first and for most because the quality of the work by all of their installers has been outstanding but also because how easy and flexible they are to work with. Bryan always made himself available on Saturdays to fit our schedule and show us our options and gets us quotes and from there the communication is great.

The company will send text messages through out the process to provide updates and any time we've had to meet with the installers they show up right on time. I would highly recommend K&H for any new door, window, siding, gutter, or roof installation. It's just a great team of incredibly very hard working people who spend the extra time to make sure the job is done right. I will continue to use them for home projects.

We recently had our home siding replaced by K&H. We would rate the entire experience SIX stars. Starting with Todd, who is a true gentleman, he gave us a full explanation of the options that we clearly understood. He gave a competitive quote (no the lowest, but we were sold on Todd, that if the rest of the experience was the same, it would be great). IT WAS.

Before installation day, they communicated with us via text to keep us updated when the material was to arrive and confirm the install date. Prior to install we received a call to review the entire order and outline expectations. More text communications came in after that. (no one kept us guessing). They showed up at 7:30 am on install day and by 7:35 they were hard at work. Edwin was the supervisor and he was fantastic.

The worker crew were super polite, they cleaned up every night before leaving and the same guys started the job and finished the job. They said they would be completed in 5 days, they were done in FIVE DAYS. When they found themselves nearing completion, they stayed (with my permission, because they asked me) until dusk.to get it done on time. When it came time to do the walk through, Edwin refused to take final payment from us until the punch list was done to my complete 100% satisfaction. Then.he came to my home and did the last touches HIMSELF. Subsequently, we received a customer satisfaction VISIT and 2 phone calls to make sure we were happy. WE ARE MORE THAN PLEASED, and the house looks fantastic. The work was done right, it looks great and every expectation that we had.was met. Thank you Todd and Edwin! Very professional. Ric and Pam

K&H says they offer a warranty but be advised, you'll pay $50 for a trip charge and full service fees for repair/ replacement when the window you buy from them fails to operate as represented. We bought windows from them one year ago and the windows are already malfunctioning.

Can't recommend this company enough! Todd was informative, helped explain options for different areas of our home (picture windows, double hung vs large sliders, single or double screens, efficiency levels, etc.), and gave a no-pressure sales pitch. We knew due to Covid we'd be waiting a while for our windows to come in and be scheduled for install, but were happy to end up having them installed 2 months earlier than expected! Sergio and his installation team were awesome!

These guys powered through our entire house (18 windows: 3 large sliders, 3 large picture windows, and 12 double hung) in about 6.5 hours to beat the snowstorm that was forecasted tonight. The work is impeccable, they cleaned every room thoroughly as they went, they made silly faces through the windows with my 5 year old as they cleaned and sealed the outside, and Sergio even went WAY above any beyond to fix a sticking door latch on our front door just because that's the kind of person he is!

I ordered pizza (I like to feed people when they're working hard in my house all day) - these guys literally cleaned up lunch and put all the dishes in the sink! They gave me a full demonstration of each window type before they left and made sure I was able to see each and every window inside and out. About 4 hours after they left the snow came!

So happy they were able to finish the job for us in 1 day instead of two. We're toasty warm with no leaks, drafts, or moisture between the glass.and couldn't be any happier!

K&H Home Solutions replaced my Soffit, Facia, and Gutters a little over a year ago. They are still holding up incredibly well! I got three estimates and K&H was not cheapest but I'm really glad I picked them. Knowing that they will still be in business if I need to call them for service was worth the extra money. The scheduling was easy and they tested my existing soffit for lead paint (which it was).

They showed me the test results and let me know the additional cost upfront - they also did An excellent job removing the old stuff that had lead. I couldn't be happier with my choice! I would definitely use them again.

First off, Sergio the window installer did an excellent job he was professional, courteous, and he cleaned up after himself. Gideon the siding/soffit/fascia installer was not a good installer. He left trash all around our house after the first day leaving water bottles, cigarette butts (we had a 3 month old newborn and they were smoking around our house), and left old siding all over the place.

They left trash the second day of the install as well and they were in the process of installing the fascia. I decided to complain to the project manager Sean and he came over the next day while Gideon was at another job. I pointed out all the trash and got yes sir and I pointed out issues with the fascia that I am spending $20,000 on. The fascia boards were uneven and did not look good with the flashing on our roof either.

He took note of everything and said they would get it fixed. Gideon came over the next morning to work after I went to work and presumed to have an an argument with my wife about us complaining to the project manager. It went down hill from their. Gideon had utter lack of disrespect for us and our house from the start and it showed through his workmanship.

He would leave his cousin our house and disappear for hours on end. His cousin still smoked cigarettes on our front and back porch discarding them everywhere, they ripped out one of my fence posts and gates(granted they were falling apart but still), trash, and the final product is not worth $20,000. I also had to ask K & H multiple times during the month of May to come out and install flashing over the gutters(which should have happened during the install) and fix our roofing they tore off while water was leaking through cracks into the new soffits/fascia.

The issues were brought up to upper management above Sean and they tried to fix the issues but not really. They failed final inspection twice in the City and County of Denver and only passed the third time because they did a "drive by inspection." If we did not get an insurance check to cover most of the siding I would not have finished paying K & H.

They will respond to this saying we had a double layered roof and our house was not level, THEN WHY DID YOU TAKE OUR JOB. I am hiring what I thought were professionals but they are not worth a dime that I gave them. I will never recommend K & H to anyone and I hope this review deters some people with going with them for there project. So many issues and I attached photos of the bad workmanship. K & H sucks.

This company has some of the worst customer service my husband and I have ever experienced. Mainly from customer care, Shawn George. The door I designed along with sidelights costing about $14k almost 2 years ago now has turned into a nightmare! First off, the handles to the security door came scratched up, Shawn told me to just wipe them off and the "scratches" will go away!

I Finally talked to someone else that said they would replace them. Second, The door wouldn't close correctly because it was measured and made way off. So the company had to make another door. With the second door I decided to add glass instead of it being a solid door. The new door was just delivered last week. Well the glass has some sort of residue spots IN the glass that do not come off!

It looks terrible! Shawn tells me that it's probably tape that should come off. I really couldn't believe it. I told him to come "remove" the "tape" then. He is extremely rude, doesn't seem to want to help with the issues that this company is causing! The glass is also way off in comparison to the side lights. It looks terrible! I would almost rather have the door that Was measured incorrectly and didn't close right compared to this new door. It has been very very frustrating especially paying so much.

We needed new siding on our house and we started our search for a siding company that offered a quality product and could be trusted. After meeting with two companies we found K&H. The representative came by and showed us product options and he did a great presentation and answered all of our questions. We decided on K&H and we are elated with the end results. We chose the James Hardie siding. K&H definitely delivered on their promises and they ensure quality work. Our house is beautiful!

I won the K&H Home Solutions sweepstakes. We replaced 7 windows & 2 doors plus a storm door. While I was skeptical when I received the call. it was true. Measurement & choices for the doors & windows was professional. The installation was professional & it all looks fabulous! We also replaced our front door last summer through K&H and have been very pleased with the service & products!

My 2 doors at $2000 each are alright- let me say I will NEVER reccomend this company to ANYONE. We had a problem with the installation- it took 2 extra hours including some stress because the installer had to go to home depot. The key cylinder was busted. Not happy that my expensive door was not the best it should have been, I told the installer I was not going to pay all of the remaining amount.

He suggested $200 off, I said $300. Fast forward to last week, when I get a call from the sales manager Scott. While I explain to him why I am justified because I didnt fully get the exact product I ordered, he lamely offers me $100 off the balance. I said no, my time and stress is worth more and these doors are expensive AF and my husband is terminally ill ( now in hospice).

Guy didnt budge. instead, he ARGUED with me about how they were not at fault and he would ONLY offer $100. I even tried to negotiate and say I would pay $150. Nope. I've never ever had this kind of horrible customer service. Dont buy anything from this company, they will treat you like TRASH rather than listen to you and work with you if something goes wrong. Also, they sent me a nasty letter in the mail demanding payment and repeating the same argument that they did over the phone. Worst window and door company EVER. they should take a page from Renewal by Anderson, who has AMAZING customer service.

Great company to work with. They did a wonderful job installing my new roof. The small problems I reported were fixed right away. The also repaired my lock on my 10 year old security door with only a small trip fee!

I highly recommend never to use this crooked company! they did my roof and gutters, had to do my roof twice after the first time it looked worse than the hail damage one they replaced. There crew will trample your flower gardens destroy property without a care they damage my van parked as far from the house as possible and offer gift cards for recomp. they had 40oz beer bottles in my driveway, and when done they left there trailer blocking my drive and garage ( 3inches off the door ) for three days. then they are trying to put a lean on house when agreed they would get paid when ins inspection was done and they cut me a check. this is the worse company I ever dealt with I give them a -10 starsa if possible

I had a great experience with K&H home solutions for the purchase of my new patio door which replaced an old oversized slider. I love my door and window bank above it and it completely exceeded my expectations. Everything from the sale to installation and after was awesome! I will definitely use K&H when it comes time to replace my windows. They understand what it means to have outstanding customer service which is a rare find these days! Thanks to Josh, John and the entire team at K&H!

I had 6 windows installed yesterday by K&H and I could not have had a better experience. The guys were awesome and it is obvious they take pride in the job they do. At first I had read Yelp reviews and almost did not go with them because they were so negative. Every bit of this experience was good. The customer service is outstanding they were honest and did everything they said they would.

Everything was explained to me in layman terms they cleaned up so well you never would have known they were here. The windows are beautiful and the job they did is flawless. So nice to find a company that really does care.

Not even worth 1 star. Wasted almost 1 month of my time for window installation quote. Then we decided on one type of window and I signed contract, paid 25% advance payment. Then the same guy(Aaron) who signed the contracts emails me that he made a mistake and price will be $2200 more on a $3200 project. That is whopping 80% more then what we signed contracts for.

Later when I showed my resentment they sent one more tech again to take some measurement again wasting my time. Some manager named Scott then emails me that instead the project cost will be $5370 more. That means a cost increase from $3200 to $8500. And moreover in the email, instead of being apologetic, they say that I have no legal recourse. Utter unprofessionalism.

I wonder how they have been in business since so long. I have emailed their founders now and waiting for the response. Stay away from them if you want to save your time and money.

Brent was very informative and listened to what we needed. He helped us decide on the right door and best design. We were eager to replace an old and inefficient sliding door before the winter and which was our first and most urgent home project after moving in. We were very pleased with the whole process, especially our beautiful new energy efficient sliding door with Hale doggy door. We can see and feel the difference just like Brent told us.

Do not use this company. I made an appointment with them to get a quote for 10 broken windows from hail damage. The company called to make sure both my husband and I were going to be at home when they came. I explained that I (the misses) would be handling the claim. I told the contractor that my husband's and my schedule rarely match up and that I was fully capable of handling all decisions with the project.

He then told me "if my husband was not going to be able to be there than perhaps they were not the company for us." IT IS 2014! WHAT IF I DID NOT HAVE A HUSBAND? MISOGYNSTIC! UNPROFESSIONAL! I have construction experience remodeling five houses, and have been the general contractor on other claims we have had. Please do not use them!
