Fireplaces Plus

Purchased a Gas insert to fit our wood burning fireplace. Richard and Kevin did a great job on the installation in November and also but in a gas line for a new gas stove and our BBQ. Lots of good work and all completed well in one day! Richard has been very helpful with tips and adjustments to the fireplace and we a very happy with it and enjoyed it all winter. Would recommend Fireplace Plus

Never have I ever had such a poor experience. Richard is the most miserable man I have ever dealt with. After telling us that they were covering the cost of a small part our fireplace needed he then tried to force us to pay a service call to install it. I'm sorry but "covered" means covered.no cost to us. As it was a very easy part to replace I said I would just install it myself.

He agreed and I told him I would be in to pick it up. So, my wife goes in to get the part and he wants $30 for shipping? When she called me to ask about it, Richard refused to talk to me on the phone. So I dropped what I was doing and went to the store myself. When I walked in the store, Richard was with another client so I stood and waited. As it turns out, Richard was talking to this client about me and how I expected free parts on my over 4 year old unit and how ridiculous I was for thinking it would be free.

I had to ask."Do you talk about all your clients like that to other clients?" So after discussing the entire situation from start to finish with Richard and also clarifying that our unit is only 3 years old, not 4, he told me I could not have the part unless I paid the shipping cost. Now, if I was told up front that I would have to pay the shipping.

I would pay the shipping.it is not about the $30, we have $30 to pay the shipping but he told us that Fireplace Plus was covering it for us. So, we will spend our $30 elsewhere and buy the part we need from anywhere but Fireplace Plus. FYI for anyone that has stuck around to the end of this review, our original sales experience wasn't that great either.just stay away from this place!

Richard and his team provided outstanding service. I have an old 93 fireplace that would not light anymore. The Fireplace plus team came out right away to inspect the situation. It was not the easiest job figuring out what was needed to get my old fireplace going. But Richard and his team did not and would not give up until they found a solution. After a short time, they ordered the parts they needed and came back promptly to install and now I am super excited that my fireplace is working better than ever.

We hired the services of The Fireplace Plus to fix our Majestic fireplace. We were told by a popular company with enough 5 Star reviews on Google that they won't fix it as it is in their do not service list and tried to sell us a new one almost immediately. When I called Bob from the The Fireplace Plus, he told me that Majestic fireplaces should usually last a couple of decades at least and that he will send a technician to our place to check. Kevoir, the technician, did a thorough job and within a couple of weeks, the fireplace is up and running in all its glory! Bob's timely advice saved us a lot of money and Kevoir's expertise got the fireplace up and running in no time. Can't recommend these folks enough. If you need fireplace repairs, contact these folks first!

Two days before Christmas, I phoned to request a service call and was impressed I was given a time the following day. When Richard and Kevin arrived, they prepped the area around the fireplace to keep the area free from debris. They cleaned the fireplace efficiently and thoroughly with careful and professional detail. Couldn't be happier with the result! Thank you so much!

I ordered a Regency San Francisco Bay Gas fireplace from Fire Place Plus and couldnt be happier with my choice. I was completing major renovations on a home I had recently purchased and Richard and his team were fantastic accommodating my ever changing timelines. Richard also referred me to his contractor to build the cabinetry around the fireplace. Everything worked out perfect. The fireplace is gorgeous. I would not hesitate to recommend Fireplace Plus

The gentleman that helped me today his name was Kev. Kev said he is also the tech for the company also. I just wanted to give Kev a BIG KUDOS as this guy went ABOVE and BEYOND to answer any questions I had in regards to buying my first fireplace. Even though I was undecided of "when" my purchase would be Kev made sure I knew all the benefits a fireplace would have.

He also provided me info on a couple of different styles and that was impressive. Not only did Kev take the time to help me decide he thanked me for coming in. This gentleman deserves a BIG raise most definitely. I would hands down recommend Fireplace Plus to any of my family and friends. Well done

A great buying experience. After shopping around locally and online, Richard and team were clearly the best in class. I had 2 wood fireplaces that needed inserts and went with 1, then the other. I'm very pleased with the outcome. These guys know their fireplaces and offer excellent selection and pricing. Needed to get an odd ball thermocouple for an older fireplace. They were a great help in sourcing the info for the part and were able to bring it in for me. I had tried a couple of places in Vaughan and they zero help. I was working close by and stopped in to see if they could help. He made some calls for me and was able to locate the part. Very friendly and looking forward to seeing the showroom when the renovations are done.

Wow, What an incredible team! The knowledgeable and experienced people at Fireplace Plus made miracles happen. Our home now has the perfect place to entertain our guests or cozy spot to relax on those cool nights. Richard provides friendly first class technicians to install as well as service our unit. Has made our decision easy to get our second for the master bedroom. I wouldn't hesitate to give this team a call.
