Family Air not so family friendly. Truck was tailgating and driving aggressively on Rt 50 today.

I used Family Air last summer, Glenn was incredibly rude to my wife. He gave us a quote, and charged us for a diagnostic. We tried getting them back out to do the work, but could never get a call back. We had to call another company and pay for a second diagnostic, but it was totally worth it to not have to deal with Family Air.

Called Family Air when our blower went out right before the weekend. Forecast was showing triple digit temps, so we were obviously worried. It took a couple days to get someone out to the house, but in the middle of summer, if your HVAC guy can come out quickly, he's probably not busy, which means he must not be that good. Glenn came to our house, and remembered working on our system for the previous homeowners, a nice personal touch.

He pulled out the faulty fan and motor, said it was a tough to find model and we'd likely have to wait 3-4 days for a replacement to come in. Realizing that meant our 2 year old would go all weekend in the blazing heat, Glenn rearranged his schedule, had other techs take his afternoon appointments so he could drive around to local warehouses to try to find the part. He was able to find one, and we were VERY thankful! Greta service, with a personal touch. Highly recommended!

A few years ago, Family Air would not provide a cost range for replacing an air handler motor without sending a technician out to the house. The quoted price was very high and we declined having this company do the work. We were then charged a diagnostic fee even though we already knew the motor was bad. This summer, we replaced multiple units but did not get a quote from Family Air because of our previous experience with them. Nor would we refer this company to friends and relatives.
