Services
In 2003, Michael's son, Adam, joined the family business as a home inspector and now runs the company. Our other home inspector, David (DJ) Marshall, rounds out our team of dedicated and experienced professionals who strive to help you make a wise decision about your future home or vacation property.
We provide a menu of home inspection services that are geared toward home buyers and sellers. Focusing on the following areas allows us to provide a higher caliber of service to each customer. If the water quality in your new home is poor, you could soon be facing a long list of complications. Avoid these issues altogether by adding a water test to any home inspection service - or schedule one on its own.

If I could leave negative stars, I would. Our home inspection provided by Cole's was a waste of $450. To start, the report had statements such as "windows were dirty and in many cases we could not determine between dirty windows and windows that have lost seal. We recommend that all windows be cleaned and checked for defect before closing." Another example from our report, "exterior lighting at front of home does not operate.

The condition is unknown (try bulb first)." This defeats the purpose of paying an inspector for due diligence. After we moved into our home we were surprised by a leaking fridge the next morning which damaged a cabinet and wall (after simply turning the valve on to the water line). A broken shelf in a bedroom closet, a broken shelf in the fridge, a leak under the sink, and natural gas logs that were cracked into two pieces are a few other unpleasant surprises that should have been identified if the inspection were as thorough as what we would have expected by a trained thorough eye.

As a result, additional costs were incurred that might have been avoided/negotiated during the due diligence period of our home buying process. To say the least my family/I are highly dissatisfied with the services provided by Cole's.
