I had a great experience with Blue Flame. They reached out to me after I made an inquiry on Home Depot's website. Shayne came out within a few days and consulted on the project and we came up with a great option. Blue Flame took care of the permits. Matt, Joe, and Misha were on time, they answered all my questions, were professional and completed the work as promised. We are no longer using our baseboards or the window AC units thanks to Blue Flame. Here's a photo of the finished product.

1 month after the technician came to my home I still have not received any correspondence or estimate for an AC install despite multiple attempts to reach out to the company. I give 2 stars because people with the company are friendly, but this experience demonstrates a serious lack of professionalism. I gave at least 2 opportunities for the company to follow up with me this week to avoid leaving this review, and I received no follow up either time.

II hired them to repair my gas furnace. The technician said that the control board was bad. He told me that the part was a thousand dollars and would take 2 weeks to get. He recommended a new furnace. After he left I checked into the part. I found that I could get the part for $200 and I would have it in 2 days! I ended up fixing it myself and it runs great! Do not recommend this company!

I called Blue Flame on Friday about my 30 year old gas heater which had just stopped working. Their service man, Michael Barber, arrived early Saturday morning to investigate the problem. He solved the heater problem in 5 minutes (bad fuse). He then checked to see if the furnace was working properly. It wasn't. A crack in the system was leaking carbon monoxide into the house which we had smelled on occasion.

He clearly laid out all my options and when I made my decision he made arrangements to replace the furnace on Wednesday. He also told me to stop using the furnace while I waited for the new one and loaned me, at no cost, space heaters that I could use while waiting for the new furnace installation. I'm completely satisfied with Blue Flame and the professional service provide by Michael Barber. I would recommend Blue Flame to anyone needing heating or a/c service.

Zane Hood was very pleasant, knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and easy to work with. He explained things very well. We've worked with him twice with both the sale of our furnace and our air conditioning unit. We would highly recommend Blue Flame. Services: Install thermostat, Heating system installation

We have been paying Blue Flame a monthly fee of 16.25 for maintenance and for services in case of emergencies since 2014 when they installed our new furnace. On December 31st, , 2021 at 4:00AM we woke to no heat. We called Blue Flame at 4:45am and they took all our information and a tech would be with us soon. Three hours later we were told that no techs that day and someone would not be available until Monday.

This was not case as confirmed by Katelyn when I talked with her on Tuesday. In other words Katelyn told me they did have techs that day. The temperatures for the next few days were going to be in the 20s and the was getting very cold. In order to protect my pipes, I found someone else and they came out and ultimately had to replace my furnace. I expect Blue Flame to make this right.

They promised to be there to help and did not honor it. As of this time, Blue Flame has made no attempt to rectify or address this matter and has refused to respond to repeated phone and email contacts. I am waiting on Martin to get back to me. They are refunding me for the years subscription. Ridiculous but the "Best" Martin can do. If you are looking for someone to help you with your heating and cooling needs, I suggest you go elsewhere. Still NO Refund that was promised

They Igniter in the furnace we purchased in 2012 went out for the second time in two years we've had many problems since the furnace was first installed. In early years the company was responsive, but no more! Our furnace one out on Saturday and by Sunday it was 60° in here and I am confined to a wheelchair so can't move around to keep warm. My husband keep the fire going in our insert so we managed to get it up to 65.

By Sunday I was in tears and so miserable and he said to call the 24/7 number. I was told they had no notes that the office would be closed on the holiday (1-17-22) so call on Monday. I got up first thing Monday and called and again it was the answering service who told me they must be not in the office yet and provided all the information again was told I would receive a call back and I waited until 130 still not getting a call back so I called again and found out the office was closed and was prepared to get emergency service because it was so cold, so I again provided my information and I was told I would be called.

I waited and waited and did not receive a call back. I called again at 7 PM explaining that I was not receiving a call back and had to provide information once again and was told I would get a call immediately that she would put urgent on the message. Over an hour later I received a call from a technician but by that time I found another company that responded immediately.

So I told the technician who called that I no longer needed service. I received no apology or any sense of concern and then had the nerve to say: just let us know if we need anything. Then the office left me a message on Tuesday stating that they see I needed service. I called back and told them what happened and once again I received no apology or sense of concern and told them I have found another company.

I will never use Blue Flame again or recommend it! It is business 101 to know if you provide poor customer service it will cause a ripple effect because I will tell somebody they will tell somebody and it will go on and on! Shame on blue flame!

During the heat wave in the summer of 2021 we purchased an air condition system with a new gas furnace from Blue Flame. The pre-sales communication was excellent. When the install date came, the specific furnace we had ordered was not available, and a large unit was installed with the assurance that it would be fine. I should have stopped the install then since the salesperson had told us that the existing unit we had was too large and that was why it was too noisy and the house heated unevenly.

That was our mistake to take the installer's word for it. The furnace is just as loud, and the house heats just as unevenly as before. At least it appears the salesperson knew what he was talking about. The bigger problem is their "Monthly Maintenance Club" for which we have been paying $24.25 per month. Per the bullet point email that we received describing the service (the only document we received describing the service), we are entitled to 3 "preventative maintenance visits per year." After 6 months, we had heard nothing from Blue Flame about these visits, so we contacted them in early January, only to be told that they had personnel shortages and that they could not schedule the service until March (fully 8 months after the service agreement was initiated.) Since preventative maintenance needs to be done in advance by definition, we expressed our displeasure and asked for a refund of the fees paid for those past months, only to be told that no refund would be paid.

Blue Flame brags about their "Exceptional Service Guarantee" which states "If, for any reason, within one year of the date of the original invoice, you are dissatisfied with our work in your home, we'll make every effort to meet your expectations, or remove your equipment (if applicable) and cheerfully refund 100% of your money." Don't believe it. Be very careful with this company, their integrity is highly suspect. And for sure, don't sign up for the maintenance contract, as they have no intention of honoring it.

I bought a brand new furnace from Blue Flame in December 2016. I had it serviced in April 2021 and parts replaced after it failed. The furnace stopped working again in December 2021 (before the 5 year part warranty expired) and the diagnostic results stated that I needed a new main burner for $800 to fix. They wouldn't honor their 5 year part warranty, saying I didn't have a yearly service contract, though I had just had it serviced 7 months earlier.

I spoke to their regional manager, Jack Sanders, who smugly told me that I was out of luck. After pleasantries, I hung up and reached out to Washington Energy Source, who quickly scheduled an appointment for another diagnostic test, and informed me that the furnace was fine, but that I was having an issue with my electrical fuse box. I replaced some fuses, and everything is now fine.

In short, my tech for Blue Flame, Tony, wanted to charge me $800 for a new part that wasn't even broken. They charged me $132.12 for a diagnostic test that wasn't even correct. I give them 1 star only because their receptionists were sweet and apologetic, and I talked to several of them. Save your money and time and go elsewhere.

Blue Flame took care of me and made what could have been a terrible situation a great experience. Chris, Steven and George were tremendous guys to work with on site. Friendly courteous, fast and efficient. There was a miscommunication at one point and the wrong unit was about to be installed. A quick call to customer relations and a conversation with the Sales Manager Tony quickly got everything back on track. Thank you for the install and friendly service. Look forward to working with your crew again. Shout out to Steven and Goerge for be a solid job all around!
