Critical: Professionalism I called to inquire about the company working with with insurance claims, the woman who answered the phone had a nasty attitude and answered my question very unprofessionally. I hope the work done by the company is better than the receptionists customer service skills

We called Blakeslee Home Improvements and it was the best choice we made! From the start to all the way to the end of the job it was a Spectacular experience. Working with Maria, Rob and Jerome made us so comfortable that we're in good hands! The Workmanship that Rob and Jerome did was mind Blowing and if anyone is looking for work to be done on their Home, I would not think Twice to give them a call! You will be AMAZED! BHI did two jobs for me about a year apart. Last year, they repair a front deck on the house which separated from the house and did a good job. Also, screened in the back deck. When I get the quotes, I thought they were reasonable. The back deck results were well above and beyond what I expected. 8x8 timbers were used to frame the windows. It is like having shelves around the perimeter of the deck.

The back screen door blends in very well. Wish I have before and after picture. The job just completed last week involved my loft railing running the length of the house was on a very short wall was about 3 inches too short for code. It had 5 vertical posts with large gaps between. Unsafe for children. Rob and his crew remove the hand rail, framed laminated glass in the 6 gaps, added a wooden run to raise the heigth and put the hand rail on top of that. Also added a thin wooden faceplat that shows no seems. Awesome results! See before and after pictures.

As a NY guy contacting the contractors in the Pocono area turned into such a nightmare. I decided to contact Blakeslee Home Improvement, Inc and to my surprise not only did they respond they answered all my concerns. I did send an email which they explained goes into their spam folder at times which I do understand. I am so excited. I actually met them in their SHOWROOM! Maria sat with me went over every detail including colors that are permitted in my development.

We spoke for almost an hour. She showed patients and such honesty. I am so glad we found this contractor. Our development told us they were the best in the area. Goes to show 44 years in business for a good reason.

I first want to say this company is beyond honest. We were told the truth about pricing lead time and boy were we surprised! Other contractor we dealt with lied to us. We actually were screwed over by a couple and now realize in this area you must be very careful who you use and give deposits too. Blakeslee Home Improvement has been around for over 40 years and it shows. They are a no nonsense company and pull no punches! So happy we stopped in and signed contracts to start our remodeling. Guy came out to do an estimate on siding. Said he would email me with the fine print. I have been waiting over 2 weeks for that email. Called twice. No Information. Extremely unhappy.

We contacted Blakeslee Home Improvement, Inc. our sister-in-law refer us. Maria explained how the gutter systems work and even opened the office on a Sunday to show us the difference in leaf relief and leaf X. She made us laugh the whole time we were there and even showed us the showroom. We will be using them to do our new deck and install our windows. Blakeslee Home Improvement, Inc. is a wonderful honest company they did our deck, windows, and doors. We had to pay for our own permits which is only right we went and got all permits required and would recommend this company to everyone!

My husband and I stopped by the office today and how wonderful to have a contractor welcome us into the showroom and give us a tour of the office including all the products they provide for new home owners in the area. Maria was so professional she showed us all the different shingles and colors to would be able to choose from, we are getting 6 gutter with leafX and a new Veloux skylight. Tried to get an appt for exterior work I'm 3 wks away from closing on vacation home However the lady on the phone would not let me talk She talk down to me and stated it's illegal for me to get an estimate if I am not home owner. You need to educate your staff I am getting an estimate as advised by the Seller/home owner You just lost a good customer and future business
