Sydney with Beam called to cancel a walk through with a homeowner on a new build approximately 1 1/2 hour before the meeting. We rescheduled for the following week, and she assured me that this job would be the first ones they went to that morning. Two hours after the scheduled meeting time I received an e-mail from the homeowner to me and Sydney/Beam asking if he could assume they were not coming. They never responded to either of us after that correspondence. I will not be able to recommend them to future clients.

Beam of Knoxville is a dream to work with. They are on time, efficient, honest, professional and have a great product. I cannot believe it took me so long to agree to central vac. To say the least, after only one week I love this product. It is quiet, cuts down on dust, easier to manage, my house doesn't have the vac. smell. I have had Dyson, Shark and anything else that is sold. Nothing has given us the results that our Beam system has. We have three inside dogs and my husband is allergic. He is sleeping all night. Thank you Beam of Knoxville!

The woman that works there has the worst customer service. She is rude! For what I paid for that vacuum I expect friendly service. I went to pick up vacuum and she practically threw it at me for me only to get home and realize that the two pieces don't connect.

Where to begin? The electrical connection for the hose is so narrow that you must constantly play with it to get connection. Rather than being integrated, the powered rug attachment needs a separate 110v outlet nearby. You need to press the switch several times to get it to turn on. Likewise, to turn it off. (5 times this morning) Then if you bump the switch, it turns off when you don't want it to.

The hose has no sock so it removes the finish on corners. Both my wife and I find making connections with the wand or attachments very difficult. I just spent 5 minutes trying unsuccessfully to remove the wand from the hose. I will rate the company at one star because they seem responsive. But they can't fix a really bad product.

I have been dealing with central vacuum companies for over 25 years. Beam of Knoxville recently upgraded two systems in my home. They did a fantastic job and exceeded my expectations. Their customer service is outstanding. Highly recommended.

Have used Beam since our home was built in 1994. Have never had anything but a great experience with them. Every time I have an issue (which isn't often over that many years) it is fixed immediately and at a fair price. The units last forever and only minor parts have been replaced. The staff is friendly and helpful and always makes you feel welcome. I would never hesitate to recommend them.

I was not able to use my Beam system after a remodel. I took pictures of the system and the wall outlets. I went to Beam of Knoxville and was amazed at the service! We had a problem 4 years after moving in to our new home. The service was quick, professional, and they didn't charge us for the 2 visits required to fix the problem.
