Basement King did a great job on waterproofing my home. Anthony and Idriss does quality work and are great at explaining and answering all our questions. I highly recommend Basement King and look forward to do business with them in the future.

Anthony and his team were outstanding. They installed a sump pump in my basement along with some reinforcements to walls of my foundation. These guys know what they are doing and do it at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them!

I called to get a quote from Aqua Guard to water proof my basement. After receiving a quote that I know was way too high, the representative from Aqua Guard told me that he wasn't able to guarantee that water wouldn't continue to get into my basement after completing the work. Anthony and his team did an excavation with an exterior wrap and drainage system around my basement and a part of my crawlspace that had accumulated excessive moisture. When he came out to give me a quote, he educated me on what needed to be done and why. There was no pressure. It was apparent to me that he understood what I was wanting done - which made it an easy decision to go with them. They were able to get me on their schedule quickly, their prices were reasonable, and they were all very pleasant and professional.

I received three different quotes to resolve an issue with a crack in my poured foundation wall. The two other companies wanted to do a patch and run. They did not want to do what it would take to completely fix the issue. Anthony came out the same day to take a look at it and proposed a complete solution. In the process of pulling out damaged finished walls the project took a turn.

We not only had one crack but we had TWO. Honestly, they were not cracks they were issues where the builder did not seal the pipes correctly. Anthony was able to reassess the situation quickly and make new recommendations. The new recommendation also cost me less. Anthony is very knowledgeable and professional. I hope I don't have to but I would hire Basement King again.

We called Owner Anthony over the weekend for a quote on several basement and settlement concerns. He responded very quickly! At our quote appointment he carefully explained moisture, waterproofing and settlement very thoroughly. He's patience and not a pushy contractor trying to up sale. He's honest and affordable. Exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend him!

(Georgia) Anthony came out to inspect the crawlspace. He explained that he would clean the entire crawlspace, removing the mold, and then spray an anti-fungal chemical. However, when he came out to do the work a couple of days later, he hardly seemed prepared. He didn't have any protective clothing, no eye protection and a mask that looked to be less sturdy than a common N95 mask.

I came back over to the house in the early afternoon to find Anthony laying in his car. He said that he was finished, but I requested that he walk me through the area. As we walked back into the house I noticed an extremely strong smell and that Anthony had tracked dirt throughout the house. In the crawlspace, it looked like hardly any work had been done. Anthony explained that the smell was from his Anti-fungal spray and it would be there for a while (something he didn't mention at the start) and that although he had cleaned the entire crawlspace, the mold had left stains which would be impossible to remove.

After paying him, he did not provide me with any kind of receipt. Because I was selling the house and the buyer wanted a receipt as proof of work, I tried contact Anthony and Basement Kings to see if I could have them email me one. After several tries, I was able to get in touch with Anthony by calling his personal number from a different number than my own.

I explained to him that I only needed a receipt. He assured me that he would send me one that evening but I never received it and I was never able to get back in touch with him. Obviously, my buyer backed out of the contract. I later hired another company to do the same work. They cleaned all of the so-called "stains" right off, used an anti-fungal fog and ran an air-scrubber in the space for two days. all for less than what Basement Kings charged me. (They also provided a detailed scope of work and receipt.) When inspecting the area, they were stunned to find out that the job had supposedly been done already. in their words "he didn't even touch most of this". Long story short, you'll get a better job and lower price by going to one of the big name mold companies than you will hiring Basement Kings.
