The vetting process for Premium plus installers has to be broken or my installer has slipped through the cracks for approval. I cannot pass judgement on the product itself but only on the terrible job. performed by ttge Premium Plus rated installer. I want input and feedback as to how Atlas roofing will back the installation of my 1 day old roof replacement with endless issues and simply sloppy work performed.

As the Owner of a Roofing Company, I want to be able to provide our clients with the highest quality product available on the market, I firmly believe Atlas is the best shingle available on the market, we have. installed a lot of roofs with Atlas Shingles and never had a problem, our guys also love installing Atlas Shingles due to the size and quality!

I have been installing roofs for over 25 years and i am a master certified installer. Atlas shingles are the worst shingles made. DO NOT EVER INSTALL Atlas shingles. Extensive Blistering will occur with in 7 years of installation. Insurance companies will deny a roof replacment claim. Atlas will not honor their warranty and you will be stuck with a. leaking roof that you will be replacing out of your pocket like me.

I had Atlas replace my roof in 2010. They did a good job and I originally left a good review. At the time Kevin was personable and reassured that if any problems arose in the future, their product was warranted and their company would be responsive. In 2012, I had a possible problem and attempted to contact Kevin. I never received a response from the emails and calls to Kevin.
I eventually gave up. I don't even know if they are in business any longer. In the end, my problem was not the roof, but had it been, Atlas and Kevin would not be there.

Selected Atlas after getting 35 bids from other roofers. I'll never need another roofer. They weren't the cheapest, but absolutely the best value- great product, great work, fast, clean, pleasant and they STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK! One call and they are on site! It has been nearly 7 years since they did my roof and gutters, still looks brand new.
The thicker, darker shingles improved my insulation and cut down my heating bills in the fog belt. It took me 3 weeks to get all those bids, and I'm glad I did the research, Atlas was the reward.

Well I had the owners son come out for the estimate for a leaky roof we had and its been 4 weeks now with no quote. He claims he has e-mailed me but I still have not gotten it. He told me he would drop it off in my mail box the next morning, That didn't happen. Call them up for the 6th time about it and they can't push the guy they said, he's the owners son.
What kind of business is this. Well I told them I am using someone else for the job not to even bother in sending the quote over. If the takes this long for just a quote, not sure what kind of quality of work they would do.

We called Atlas Roofing today to resolve leak in bathroom ceiling light. Kevin came out promptly, resolved the problem (clogged drain) and did not charge for his time. Very professional. Nice guy and left his cell # should we have any further issues. In as much as it was raining hard at time of visit, I was obviously prepared to pay some sort of charge to get the problem fixed.service like this is hard to find!

I've taken a long time to finally write this review. I should have done it earlier but just haven't done many Yelp reviews. Atlas Roofing replaced our roof a couple of years ago. They were prompt in their bid (very reasonable), professional, and there were no surprises with the bottom line at the end of the job. And, most important we have had no leaks during the last two winters!
He did my mother-in law's house too, last year and they did a phenomenal job. Now, I'm having a porch added to the front of my house and Kevin at Atlas is checking for matching shingles for me. I have only kudos for Atlas Roofing!

No more searching for reputable, knowledgeable, ethical, and skilled roofers! I experienced a significant leak in last March's storm. Kevin provided a professional and intelligent review of the problem with my 6 year old roof and a reasonable quote to repair it. The men who came to do the work were polite, knowledgeable, informative and made an effort to show me the problems they were fixing and materials they used. It was clear that they were THINKING and PROBLEM SOLVING: qualities that are often absent. Would use them again anytime and recommend them highly!
